23.01.2022 Bardon Latrobe FC are looking for a Technical Director (Juniors) with the main objective to promote junior player development and assist coaches throughout the season. OBJECTIVE To ensure that there are suitably qualified coaches for each team at the club and provide coaching assistance as required throughout the year. RESPONSIBILITIES Appoint coaches to teams (senior or junior) throughout the club. Deliver Community Coaching courses as required. Recruit players from the club to assist in coaching roles. Delivery of school holiday coaching clinics as required. Coordinate grading sessions for relevant groups if required. 23.01.2022 2020 Volunteer Roster Bardon Latrobe Football Club is reliant on having volunteers assist with the preparation of the field and the two canteen shifts on every Saturday’s match day. We have endeavoured where possible to fit the request to teams around the playing schedules, and home and away games for each team.... Colleen Donaghy, our volunteer coordinator, will be in contact with each manager a week before the allocated slot to confirm volunteer places. Thank you to everyone their participation in the volunteer program and for your ongoing support of the club.

17.01.2022 Capital results | The hill was full to see two wins for the Capital teams this afternoon. Retamal and Redburn were on the score sheet as Briddon kept a clean sheet for the reserves. In the top team, skipper Mac Stuart's diving header was enough as Sutherland kept a clean sheet.

Bardon Latrobe FC is now in the planning phase for all the 2021 junior teams.... If you wish to join next year’s U12, U13, U14, U15, U16 and U18 teams please submit your expression of interest to the head coach of your 2021 age group shown below. Any new players seeking to join a high divisional team or a team which is oversubscribed will require a trial at the club for consideration of selection. Players will generally be selected first if they are an existing Bardon Latrobe FC player and then on a "first come first served" basis so please apply now to avoid missing out. 11.01.2022 Following the overwhelming success of our last football clinics we are now running September school holiday clinics, and registrations are now open! The Bardon Latrobe FC football clinics will be held on Wednesday 30th September and Thursday 1st October from 8.00am to 3.00pm each day. Players are welcome to attend for one day only or both days. The clinics will be run by BLFC head coach Gil Albertson and his team of coaches, and will be based around having fun, while developi...ng and improving skills and fitness. This applies to adults as well as kids! We encourage all members of the BLFC family to enjoy the facilities at Bardon Bowls and support our neighbours in these uncertain times. Bowman park is always available for football, although we do kindly ask people to avoid playing on the main field area.... Thank you.

09.01.2022 Our Capital team travels to Prentice Park this Saturday to take on North Brisbane. With only three games left in the season, it is an important match for the first team as they chase the Capital 2 Plate trophy for the second half of the season. Kick off at 7pm, reserves at 5pm.

09.01.2022 It has been brought to our attention that people visiting BLFC are parking in restricted areas. We kindly request everyone parks in only the allowed local parking areas: 1. David Avenue carpark 2. The overflow carpark behind the clubhouse (when open) 3. Simpsons Road carpark ... 4. Bardon Bowls' carpark 4. Street parking on Bowman Parade & Simpsons Road Most importantly parking is not allowed on the Bowman Park side of David Avenue (where parking infringements apply). Please have a look at this image showing where you can and can't park. We also remind visitors to always be mindful of our neighbours and to always keep noise to a minimum and to not block driveways, even if you're just dropping off or picking up. Thank you.

Female football is alive and well at Bowman Park, as our U15 Div 1 Girls pave the way for a bright future for Bardon Latrobe female footballers. Our girls have worked hard under the leadership of ‘Football Queensland’s "Male Community Coach of the Year 2019"’, David B...ounds, to reclaim their position as number 1 in the 2020 season. This team shows great diversity and talent, with 6 of our girls named in the top 7 goal scorers in their league. Also prominent as junior refs on a Saturday morning, our girls are fantastic role models for our young upcoming female footballers. BLFC U15 Div 1 Girls symbolise what our club is all about. We are thinking to have weekly menus with dinners available to pre-order up to Tuesday for the following evening. Our aim is to create a great family night where the kids can play soccer and then grab a bite to eat with their family and friends, watch a movie and take advantage of our brand new club house facilities - continuing ...to grow the family culture of our club. 04.01.2022 Junior/MiniRoo Presentation Day is this Sunday, 8th November from 12:00pm at Bowman Park. Please note the schedule has been modified slightly to accommodate a few additional games being played at Bowman Park on Sunday. We will be presenting trophies and team photos in age group blocks between 12pm-2pm.... The presentations will run in accordance with the Government COVID-19 guidelines. We will present the trophies from the clubhouse, handing out the trophies/photos in team bags for distribution by the coach/manager after they come up. The teams are able to come up with their manager and/or coach for photos in front of the clubhouse. We will provide presentation instructions on Sunday. Presentation schedule (please note the time changes): U14 teams, U15 teams & U16 team: 12:00pm - 12:30pm U6 teams & U7 teams: 12:30pm - 1:00pm U8 teams & U9 teams: 1:00pm-1:30pm U10 teams & U11 teams and U12 teams: 1:30pm-2:00pm Games Our two Under U14 boys teams (Div 4 and Div 1) are playing with games from 9:00am and 10:30am respectively whilst our City teams will play two games after 2pm. Please feel free to come earlier, stay later and support these teams. There will be a number of marquees setup on the junior side of the fields, where you can enjoy a picnic and a few drinks plus there are good game viewing opportunities from the clubhouse.
