13.01.2022 Bardon Rainworth Medical Centre is open! You can still make an appointment to see your GP in person. Our doctors encourage all our patients to continue to manage their general health in this difficult time. This may involve immunisations, skin checks, general check ups and blood tests and also continuing to manage any chronic health conditions such as diabetes, asthma and heart disease.... With social isolation and many patients impacted with loss of work, it is vital to maintain good mental health. Our doctors are available to discuss mental health with any patient experiencing difficulty in their life. BRMC is offering the following options: 1. Face to face appointments to all patients. Patients with Covid-19 risk factors or respiratory symptoms will go through a screening process before being seen to ensure the safety of the patient, doctor, nursing and reception staff and our other patients In addition, unwell patients with cough, fever, sore throat or flu-like symptoms may be seen in their car or via a telehealth consultation. 2. Telehealth consulting is available to all our patients. Our doctors can complete a bulk-billed telephone consultation if you are over the age of 70 or if you have a health condition that makes you vulnerable to the Covid-19 infection. However, there may be an additional gap fee if you are not in this group. We will continue to care for you during these times. Your health and safety is our priority.
