Sundays for me over the years has been the day I do the grocery shopping and cook something new and different for dinner that may take a bit more effort than the usual mid week meals. 21.01.2022 D E T O X T I P S When you transition to a natural deodorant, your body goes through a period of detox as it eliminates build up and toxins in your sweat glands. To make the transition as quick and easy for you, here are a couple of tips to help you out: 1. Use a clay style face mask under your arms, this will help to draw the nasties out for you. Use it every other day to speed up the process.... 2. Use an antibacterial soap to cleanse the bad bacteria from the skins surface (which is what causes odours in the first place). 3. Avoid high odour causing foods and drinks such as garlic, onion, alcohol and coffee. You dont need the hinderance when youre changing over. Making the switch is super easy and whilst you may experience little to no side effects, all of the above will help long term as well. If you have any questions DM anytime.

19.01.2022 FAQ: Will I still sweat? Switching to a natural deodorant wont stop you from sweating but it can help you to sweat less in a more natural way all while reducing toxins! Using mainstream antiperspirants work by blocking your sweat glands with aluminium preventing you from sweating. Our bodies naturally sweat, so when we are constantly blocking our glands, they can overstimulate causing you to sweat more (ever noticed how much you start sweating when you forget to put it on!),... this is because for so long we are trying to stop them doing what they do natural so as soon as there is an opportunity to sweat, it comes ten fold. After you make the transition to a natural deodorant such as @bareandfree_ and youve allowed your sweat glands to eliminate build up and go back to their natural way, you may find that you will hardly sweat at all. Ive even had a customer who suffered from Hyperhidrosis make the change and is now sweating considerably less than ever before! Embrace the sweat, its not as bad as you think!

11.01.2022 Bare + Free Friendly is our new bicarb free and vegan formula that we have been working on for what seems like forever. We received our latest sample a few weeks ago and have been trialling it for effectiveness since then and Im super pleased to say that it is getting a lot of ticks! A few more rigorous tests to carry out before moving onto phase two, being testing for sensitivity. Once we get the tick on both effectiveness and sensitivity (because they are the most importan...t) we will then fine tune the consistency which is sooo close to perfect. Our packaging design is almost complete and we should be able to have this finished and off for sampling soon. I know there is quite a few of you waiting for this product so Im doing everything I can for you but with what is happening around Australia and the rest of the world, its taking a little longer than initially planned! 07.01.2022 Lets talk about natural deodorant irritations. There are two main irritations that can occur when using a natural deodorant. One could be from the many essentials oils that go into creating that particular formula or the other could be the bicarb. Because Bare + Free doesnt use a lot of essential oils (we only use lime!), lets focus on the bicarb as I know there are a handful of you who may have had the unpleasant experience of irritation from other brands or our original.... Bicarb is a very alkaline ingredient and our skin is slightly acidic, with some people being more acidic than others, so when you apply an alkaline based product onto an acidic surface there is going to be a disruption. This disruption unfortunately creates irritation which is not pleasant for anyone! You can try taking a break for a a few days before trying again, or you could try applying Apple cider vinegar onto the skin first, but if youve tried other brands and experienced the same irritation then unfortunately bicarb based deodorants are not for you. The good news for those of you who love Bare + Free for what it is and really would love to use it, we are getting closer to launching Bare + Free Friendly which is not only bicarb free but also vegan! 07.01.2022 Do you offer a subscription option? I decided not to offer a subscription service but instead encourage you to buy multiple. By buying more than one, we reduce packaging & waste that is used to send items to you and we reduce carbon omissions which together is much gentler on our environment. 06.01.2022 Myth: Natural deodorants stain your whites! Fact: Sweat stains your whites! The apocrine glands that are found under your arms secrete a milky sweat instead of the clear sweat we get over the rest of our bodies. After time you will start to notice a build up on your whites which is caused by this milky sweat not by the deodorant itself. The easiest way to keep your whites looking white is to pre treat before washing! If youve got some items already stained, they may take a few attempts of soaking and treating to lift it!
