Thats right, Barefoot Coffee Traders now offer food to accompany their great coffee. But Im not here to plug beans; Im here to rate baes. Costing $11, the "Not a Hipster Roll" is a delicious breakfast for anyone who doesnt work in graphic ...design nor ride a Fixie bike. Consisting of a runny fried egg, crispy speck, green kale, house made tomato relish and a dollop of aioli, all held together on a soft toasted sesame seed roll. For those of you about to google what speck is, allow me to save you the click. Similar to prosciutto, its basically bacons better, crispier brother. Its Vinny to Johnny Chase, its Andrew to Matthew Johns, its Alec to the rest of the Baldwins, its phenomenal! Every bite was as delicious as the one before, all the flavours working together to satisfy a young mans morning needs. All in all a well constructed roll however its not recommended for the overly hungry as its only a little fella! No points deducted for size though, based on taste alone its a solid 7.5/10. See more
