25.01.2022 As we slowly get used to our new normal & the continuous change in guidelines, our staff share in the excitement with you as we work on being able to open more areas of our Club. As of Thursday 25th June the Club will now be open from 10am-late Thursday-Saturday & 11am-5pm Sunday. Areas include Bistro, Lounge, Outdoor Deck, TAB & Keno. 24.01.2022 Good Afternoon Members Whilst the State is being left in uncertainty over the coming weeks/months it is important for our Community to stick together during this time in need. The Club is here to offer assistance wherever we can & this week we are assisting some of our young members move into their very first home.... During their time in isolation they decided it was time to fly the coop & not have to share the TV room with their parents! The boys are moving into a home in Yarraville & after any household items that you may no longer want or need. Items from a couch, table, chairs to kitchen appliances or other household goods. If you or anyone you know is parting with anything that may help the boys start their independent journey please contact the Club via Facebook, email: [email protected] or call 0405432606. You will ...be able to interact with everyone online & have a wine or two together. Teams will be selected once you join our host Emily. Limited spots available so first in best dressed. 11.01.2022 Good Evening All Following on from our notice yesterday, the YFBC will continue to trade from Thursday-Saturday 10am-late & Sunday 11am-5pm. During this time bookings are essential for food, drink & bowls. ... Although the government announced in their restriction ease on the 22nd June that counters are open for ordering purposes this is not something we want to encourage given the states latest spread. Please consider our drink card option, they are of great value & a safer, easier & quicker transaction. While we appreciate your visit immensely, for the health & safety of yourselves & our staff there is a maximum limit of 3 hours per booking. Our bistro will be full table service. As per government guidelines, if you reside in the below postcodes you are not permitted to visit the YFBC at this point in time. All identification will be checked at the door on arrival, if you do reside within these postcodes we have an obligation by law to report your breach. 07.01.2022 & WE ARE READY FOR YOU FRIDAY!! YFBC are pleased to announce we WILL BE OPENING OUR DOORS ON FRIDAY! As you can imagine this has been a very difficult time for the hospitality industry & we still have so many restrictions & guidelines to abide by. ... They can also change with 24 hours notice so we ask as one human to another please be patient while we learn. Please be patient if we do not respond to your enquiry right away, we will get there but as you can imagine we have been inundated. Please be kind & supportive to our team that have not been able to wear their uniform for many months. Please be courteous to others around you whilst visiting our Club. Our hours will be restricted & will increase as we’re able to accomodate more of you. Thursday-Saturday 12pm-8pm for meal service & open for a little longer for those that would like to enjoy a drink under the stars. Our TAB will be opening during this time & we are open Cup Day from 9am-5pm for all your betting needs. For all bookings until we are back operating each day can be made by texting 0405432606 or emailing [email protected]. We have implemented a COVID safe plan for the health & wellbeing of our staff & guests which will include a downtime (no service) at the bar from 4:45pm-5pm . You will be required to wear a mask when you are entering/exiting the Club & anytime you have to stand. Whilst you are seated you are not required to wear one as you will be eating & drinking. We ask that if you are unwell please do not attend our Club, we will have a table for you once you have recovered.
