24.01.2022 WHAT WILL YOU REMEMBER Such interesting times we live in, What will be spoken of these events in the years to come. What will YOU remember !... The Media as usual paints a picture of Panic and doom. We are bombarded in facts (not necessarily substantiated.) and many times stung opposing points of view. Pictures and videos replaying again and again fear and hopelessness. And yet personal one to one communication tells of acts of kindness, thoughts of others, hope of better things to come. This pandemic is am amazing opportunity for each of us to express our concern and care for others. Many people are self-isolating, some quarantined but we are blessed to live in such a time when video calls are possible, communication is one of the prime industries. Some people just need to hear a friendly voice, reassurance, validation. Social distancing may hinder some gatherings but whilst we don’t have lock down we can still talk with our neighbours, share resources, help them out if they need. Drop a note in their letter box (Just Checking on You!). Each day we hear of random acts of kindness, these we need to share. This time of isolating from each other could be the revival and renewal of a much more caring community, City, Nation. For God so Loved the world He GAVE! See more

19.01.2022 We are always on the lookout for blankets, towels, soaps etc for the hygiene of those we minister to with food etc. We asked our members the other week and straight away our Amazing Nana Carol put the word out to her friends and we started to recieve towels underwear etc. Thank you to the residents of RAAFA Erskine for the blessed donations for the shower program for the homeless. We are still looking for small shampoos and hygiene items to hand out with the relief parc...els but always so grateful when we see how so many people are ready to give. God is good We are so blessed to live in such a country as this. Thank you See more

17.01.2022 How do we respond! The world is watching! Love in action!

17.01.2022 It has been an interesting but very purposeful week of gatherings around the state this week with our mate Colin Brown . Kalgoorlie was followed up with gatherings in Perth , Mandurah and Bunbury. The overall theme beeing "a level playing field" "one body". It was vital that our friend Douglas Khul should attend many of these times this week as his sharing of the Jewish concrete understanding of the Word (Jesus) has been astounding. Saturday morning anither strategic inpromtue gathering of Aboriginal Mesianic Jew and non aboriginal brothers and sisters came about at Aglow head office in Perth. The lanscape of Church as we know it is changing! The King is here. Thank you Lord!

15.01.2022 If you love a good curry!!!!! this is the place and you can support a vital need for others....

12.01.2022 Happy 2020, WOW we are nearly through January already. I had plans of writing up a summary of 2019, putting out a vision for the next decade and thanking all of you who have been part of the journey with us so far. Last year was probably not a super year to talk about. The past decade though has seen much achieved. Praise God toooo much to report. If we were to report on the news for this year what a lot of tragic newsBUT! Already Barefoot Ministries has been able to help ...and support people moving into new accommodation, bless people with no income.., assist people in crisis, many food parcels have already gone out and social connections made. This week we are putting in our second well (with the kind donations from caring hearts) in Andrah Pradesh in India This is not about blowing our own trumpet but to say and show that we can all make a difference, we don’t have to let the tragedies of life stop us making the difference in someone else’s life. I was just reading a little meme, do one kind deed a day for someone and you can change the lives of 365 people this year. Regardless of our own situation we can make a positive impact for others.. This week’s well is going into an area where although the community are blessed to have a water hole near their village they balance on tree trunks to pale for water (see photos). They will have a bore/well with pump in their village, fresh water on hand.. That’s because people like you can and do make a difference. HELLO 2020 How good can we make . May God Bless you and guide youThank You! See more

12.01.2022 What a Blessing Sunday was. We got to join with some of our spiritual family as they celebrated the 4th birthday of MiraclePoint church Mandurah. We are really excited that their vision for the coming year includes partnering with BareFoot Ministries in our outreach to dig borewells in India..what a blessing! Happy Birthday MiraclePoint .

10.01.2022 Landed in Visaknapatnum and got through customs in under an hour. Praise God. Was met by my brother Raja whos birthday it was.so we were able to celebrate our bdays together again. God joined our families together so many years ago now but we realy are closer than blood born. It is amazing how different our lives are because of our heritage. Last year i was commenting about how close the frendships had become with a number of our overseas friends and how we have no problem tasting each others food and drink off the same leaf paper spoon or finger and wouldn't entertain the same idea with many of our Aussie friends : cause thats just what you dont do. God is good!!

10.01.2022 I Believe!! We in the western world are blessed to have ( and fighting to keep, yes even in Australia) Freedom of speech. BUT mankind has been given the Blessing of free will, and will always have Freedom of choice.this cannot be taken away, it can be diminished, polluted, pressurized manipulated and perverted but cannot be taken. Every day we have choices and we can determine much of the day and time by those choices.. WE choose how we think and feel.... We can choose to be joyful or full of sorrow and regret, we can choose whether we engage or not, we choose whether we allow others actions to perhaps impact or whether they devastate for life we choose whether we are a victim or a victor So Many choices, every minute of every day. We can choose to believe in Santa, in elves, in Fairies, in Jesus, in God, in magic in the miraculous. Choices are ours to have and to hold.. But WE have the power to change them. I choose to Believe in life and not death, good and not evil, love and not selfishness, I choose to believe in a Creator God who loves . Who wants us to know he loves us , A God who would do anything and has done everything He could to restore relationship with us with the free will. May your choices this day bring you a greater and more fulfilling sense of purpose than you have known. Merry , Merry , Merry Christmas from all at BareFoot Ministries See more

10.01.2022 Halfway through the journey and have time to reflect on the experience again so far. In Chennai now for the second half and with power a little more reliable and wifi access possible (although much water shorage) am now on a slightly different playing level. A few days ago we travelled hours and 100s of kls to the interior area to view and taste of one of the bore wells BFM sponsored. I sruggle again between embarassment and humility. We arrive in the village in 40+ heat and ...are ushered into the tiny dwelling of the pastor and his extended family. The pastor (35) his mmother and 2 of his 3 children are legally blind.(1 eye non responsive and the good eye able to read phone etc if position a few inches from the object at a correct angle. I am privaliged to sit on the families raised wooden bed (which takes up 80%of the room) as this is under the fan. Another pedistal fan is brought in and twitched into power socket. Door closed to aircondition room for me. After sitting alone for a while the pastor comes in rumages arond in a box uder bed and gets out 2 small towels. One he places for my pastor friend when he returns and the other he puts on my lap. He motion it is for face and then he procedees to take the towel and with his face just inches from mine so he can see , to wipe and pat dry my face head and neck. To make me more comfortable. Later when the power is gone he stands and continues fanning me. On tbe way to the village i am complaining about the changing of hand to elextric water pumps...... Certain higher caste in the village have now gone to the council to take back the piece of land that now holds the bore well. Which the pastor often connects to length of hose to deliver water to the village people at the gather place metres down the road. They now have to fight the courts to retain their land on topp of everything else. The pastor is a meber of the HPPF.Hadicapped Pastors Prayer Fellowship. 27 pastors in the region are handicapped ( some blind. Had strokes limb disfigurment or loss, leprosy). I was able to bless them with gifts while i was there but what is that to who they are and what they do. I had the extreme honour of appointing christian names to the pastor , Timothy his wife, Lidia, and his mother Sarah. Kerrie and i are so blessed to know this is where the well we personally paid for as a legacy to Kerries parents was sunk. Again we have new family and they are waiting to meet my @kerrie overell. Praise God ,

07.01.2022 Thank You! What an great night the Party for Paanee night was. A lot of effort was put into a wonderful evening and a great outreach to help bring clean water to others in the world. We at BareFoot Ministries would like to extend out Appreciation to MiraclePoint and the amazing team who made the event such an awesome night for all in attendance and for those who’s lives will be changed by being able to access clean water in their community. We THANK YOU and we know those in Andhra Pradesh in India who will benefit so greatly THANK YOU as well!

05.01.2022 We were very blessed this last week as we were able to have a couple of our friends from Chennai, Tamil Nadu, stay with us. Ps Packianathan and his son Ps Sam Daniel's. We had some wonderful times of fellowship with them and even though the weather was quite cold and unpredictable we got to show them some of our beautiful wildlife. Gods good!

04.01.2022 there have been a few issues with this well and a couple of others... we had negotiated for some deep wells but it has not gone quite to plan... we now need electric pumps on these deep wells but are trying to insure everyone will have free access to the water. we thank our brother Raja Sekhar for his overseeing of the drilling...ultimatly many people are going to be blessed by having water at hand..thank God!

03.01.2022 Say it while you can......Some people say it all the time......Many people NEVER get to hear it....

03.01.2022 Day one . Pastor visits. Wedding. Meeting and well blessing. All in 40 degrees heat. What has He got planned for the rest of the visit.

03.01.2022 We were realy blessed over the weekend with a trip out to the Goldfields. The family of God out there welcomed and encouraged us greatly. Auther of "outside the camp" Colin Brown once again facilitated the gatherings with great humbleness and love. The Lord was at work umungst us all and the realization of connections going back through the decades once again showed how nothing is by chance and God is at work continually orchestrating our lives plans. The Aboriginal, Messianic Jew and non Aboriginal brothers and sisters gathering in the Lord to see and share what the Lord is doing. Amazing!!! In Him we exist and have our being!

02.01.2022 OzHarvest such a big thank you to the people who have been supplying the rolls and meals...what a blessing.we have been able to support the homeless showers through out these last months and those using the facilities have been amazed at the food that had been offered when they come for a shower.....BUT those who have been blessed with food relief through this period have also recieved the extra blessing of beautiful meals ready to eat. We just want to send our thanks to those who have continued to think of others during this time of unbalance and hardship. We belong to such an amazing community of caring people. THANK YOU

01.01.2022 Decided to start the day by finding the beach and having an early morning paddle. Loveky walk but dirty beach, so much rubbish washed up. Numours ships anchored of the coast waiting to use the harbour. Fishermen draging almost empty nets in and unfortunatly that time of day the locals have little place else to deal with the ablution needs, so it became a hastie return to the streets and stop for chai. 2 and a half hour drive found us in the back blocks of Visaknapatnum a...nd an hour late for another pastors meeting. Rain upon rain upon rain today and no power. Never the less a battery powered amp and mic kept things going. Amazing though way out there the worship guy plugs his smart phone in the mic box and with a key board app, plays one handed on the phone screen. There was still drums...because there are always drums. Another interesting experience. 5hrs travel saw us arrive at the school where the children welcomed me with another one of their dances. I can not believe the changes and new buildings since last September. God is good!! See more

01.01.2022 Praise God! These past months have been a testing time for many . we are blessed to live in such a Nation as this and should be very thankful for the decisions that our leaders have made to combat the threat in this land. Well done to ALL! At Barefoot Ministries we have had to change tactics and re shape how we do things,. The March trip to India to oversee the wells and outreaches we assist over there had to be cancelled last minute . BFM continues to support financ...ially each month and to contact and encourage our friends and family in India as they progress through a much worse experience than we could probably imagine. We have been blessed to be able to send extra funds towards helping with basic needs and continue to pray for their survival and safety. Locally our gatherings have ceased but one to one contact (meeting social distancing regulations) where possible have sufficed. Our food distribution has increased dramatically over the past weeks and we have had to double our deliver days. We are very grateful to our amazing support OzHarvest WA and especially Super Ann our tireless Driver. We are constantly blessed with their help in supplying us with quality food to help those who are struggling through this time of uncertainty. Thank you to the caring Volunteers, Chaplains, family members who deliver the parcels for us. We could not do it without you! One of the wonderful outcomes from this pandemic has been the notable change in people’s selflessness and their increase in community focus, looking out for each other The word says For there will never cease to be poor people in the land; that is why I am commanding you, ‘Open your hand willingly to your poor and needy brother in your land.’ Duet 15:11 And do not forget to do good and to share with others, for with such sacrifices God is pleased. Hebrew 13:16 Thank you to all our supporters! See more
