Reformer Pilates is the most popular and with small classes of 6 beginners are welcome at any class time that suits you I’m pretty high intensity but that doesn’t mean you have to be work at your own pace in these classes & I’ll be there to support each & every one of you ... These have excellent grip, are super heavy so they don’t move and being a natural product help you stay grounded. ... You may have your own mat and you are more than welcome to bring it along to use instead. I also have fitness mats to place beneath if you need a little extra support, blocks, straps, bands, circles and more. If you have your own props please feel free to bring them if you prefer. Your mat is your space for your practice... let’s keep that sacred. Please try to avoid stepping onto someone else’s mat (the only time this may happen is when an instructor is assisting you) and absolutely no shoes on mats It keeps them clean (physically & energetically) and also supports our vision and purpose... ‘leave you worries and your shoes at the door’ If you’re a seasoned yogi or just starting your practice, I welcome you If you know me personally you’ll know most of what I do is with high energy but this is YOUR practice, so listen to your body, move at your pace, rest when you need too, ask questions, take what you need, leave what you don’t, laugh (there will be plenty of opportunities to laugh at me ) and above all, have fun! 01.01.2022 Matwork, it’s how Pilates is distributed to the masses... not everyone can afford or get access to a reformer, a wunda chair or a cadillac so that’s where the mat and small apparatus step in If you’re a beginner, you’ll have the opportunity to learn the basics, workout from a comfortable position (usually laying) and start a healthy connected relationship with your body But here’s the other part of it...
