25.01.2022 A lot has happened over the past two weeks here’s a recap! Our Saturday teams had mixed end to the season. Division 1: 8th, avoided relegation in a last ditch effort and will remain in the highly contested division next season.... Division 4 (1): 5th, just missed finals after receiving promotion into the division last season. Division 4 (2): 10th, struggled for most of the season but picked up a handful of wins but will be relegated back to division 5 where they were promoted from last season. Division 7: 1st: Did not lose during the regular season and won their first final meaning they will be promoted to division 6 in 2020-21 season (fantastic effort after going winless last year). Midweek had another strong season after joining back into the competition 3 years ago. Division 3: 5th, posted some strong wins throughout the season but fell just short of finals for a third consecutive year. Division 5: 1st, will play today for promotion at home. (Advice from the state governing body however has eliminated all spectators from attending but we will be eager to find out results this afternoon). Wednesday nights teams also had a mixed bag of results with our division 3 side making finals but coming up just short in the first elimination final. We have also been lucky enough to host the division 1 sectional final over the weekend. We are extremely proud in generating hype and recognition for the greens and hospitality on the day. We’d like to thank all our dedicated workers, board and selectors for putting together a successful season at the club. We will continue to strive for continuous improvement as a bowling section and at community level. If you are ever interested in seeing what our club can offer you we are always open during the week to visitors wishing to give the game a go.
