24.01.2022 Well Barefooters, what a year! 2020 has undoubtedly been one for the ages. It started with the bushfires devastating families and filling the air with smoke and has ended with a pandemic that none of us will ever forget. We didn't realise it at the time, but when we finished Barefoot Cinema on 4 March this year, we were about to head into one of the craziest and most challenging times that all of us have ever faced. Just over two weeks later, we were in a full lockdown. The... good news is that this year is nearly behind us, but the bad news is that we've had to postpone Barefoot Cinema. While it's great to see things improving and getting back to 'normal', we felt that there was just too much uncertainty and we didn't want to put you, our amazing guests, and all of the brilliant partners and people that make Barefoot Cinema happen, at risk. We are so thankful for all of your support over the last four years and we can't wait to bring Barefoot Cinema back next summer so we can once again kick off our shoes, fire up the big screen, get the popcorn popping and welcome you all back to our stunning venues. Stay safe and look after yourselves this summer. We hope you have a very merry festive season with your friends and family and let's all hope that 2021 will be a much happier year for all!
