Jesus we honour you, because you alone are the one who takes us from darkness to light, from death to life, from bondage to freedom, from despair to joy, from being orphans to beloved children and from condemned to forgiven. Thank you Jesus, thank you. May you be pleased with what we do today, may the love & kindness we demonstrate to others today, be it family, friend or stranger, bless your heart. Help us to look beyond our usual circle and be your message of love to someone who needs it today. All the glory, honour and praise belongs to You precious Jesus. We love you. HAPPY BIRTHDAY!

It comes hidden in seemingly just causes like "Black Lives Matter," "Climate Change" and many things that sees governments taking greater control "for our own good". Remember we were born into a battle which we must fight with spiritual weapons - prayer, praise, worship , intercession, fasting, speaking the Word. May we, the church, be fully awake.

09.01.2022 I came across this post yesterday and I immediately understood the sentiment behind it. After the year we've had we're all looking for some reassurance about the future. But peace quickly filled my heart and I felt Holy Spirit say, "You already have My terms and conditions: I will never leave you nor forsake you." (Hebrews 13: 5) As I meditated on that more scriptures came to mind.. "Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; In all your wa...ys acknowledge him and he shall direct your paths" Proverbs 3: 5-6 "For I Am the Lord your God, who takes hold of your right hand & says 'Do not fear; I will help you..." Isaiah 41:13 "...in this world you will have tribulation; but be of good cheer, I have overcome the world." John 16:33 Our God is so good. In Him we have all the reassurances we need. 07.01.2022 A visit to Lameroo Cafe Church for Christmas... Was Awesome!

07.01.2022 Holy Spirit put the "Serenity Prayer " on my heart first thing this morning. (See photo) As I reflected on it, He gently showed me that I tend to ignore the middle section,,".....THE COURAGE TO CHANGE THE THINGS I CAN....." So true. I have many times focused on just accepting things rather than having the courage to change them, putting up with thoughts, attitudes and circumstances that I've known needed changing, because I lacked COURAGE. This applies equally to the challeng...e of developing our own Christlike character as well as understanding our role in the wider community, both in the church and in the world. Dare I say, that too many of us Christians have succumbed to a wrong "Spirit of Niceness" where we don't want to rock the boat and challenge the status quo, or we just plain don't 'want to put the effort in. All the while God is waiting for someone to JUST DO SOMETHING!! So what does Holy Spirit wish to show you as you meditate on this prayer? Do you need SERENITY to accept things you cannot change, because you are wearing yourself out trying to change things that are not part of God's plan for you to change? It's like banging your head against a brick wall - it does you no good. Far better to surrender your frustrations to Father, asking Him what it is He wants you to learn through it. Or do you, like me, need to ask for the COURAGE to change something? Don't know where to start? Well just pray, take a deep breath and do something different! Or do you need WISDOM to work out what is in your power to change and what does God want you to leave alone? Praise God for sending us the Holy Spirit who gives us SERENITY (the quality of being peaceful & calm), COURAGE and WISDOM to navigate our own journeys, while bringing life and peace to those around us. Pray that God opens the eyes of medical authorities to treatments that are right under their noses. Keep your eyes fixed on Jesus. He is greater than our circumstances.
