25.01.2022 Diet, exercise or mindset - to get healthy which one do you concentrate on first????????? They're all important. Many people believe that all your emotions and moods are regulated by the mind, but in fact it's your gut that decides how you're feeling and then relays that to your brain. Sure, your thoughts of stressful events like work or bills then get involved but it STARTS in your gut. Have you noticed when you drink alcohol you can feel anxious for no good reason? That's ...your gut telling your brain to pay attention. So, it starts with diet then, right? Not so fast ... You have your lymph system that cleans out your body and pushes nutrients around. Unlike your organs the lymphatic system doesn't have its own engine. It works through movement. So, if you're not getting up and moving your body in the morning you're not cleaning your system out properly. Instead most people just reach for the coffee to try and jumpstart themselves and wonder why they crash at 3pm or reach for the sugar. You don't need to do strenuous exercise but you do need to move. So exercise, exercise comes first then! Wellllll ... It really does start with mindset. Deciding who you want to be in the future, who you need to be right now in order to love yourself enough to nourish your gut and move your amazing body. 23.01.2022 I sprang out of bed so excited this morning! I had decided that I was going to walk to the beach with my phone in my pocket and snap some pics of whatever I saw that invoked feelings of gratitude. I was so excited! As I grabbed my shoes to get ready my dogs spotted what I was doing and got really excited - "We're going for a walk!!!". Ummmm, no I planned to go alone. Keira can't walk far because of her heart condition and cancer and Trixie is difficult to walk in unfamil...iar territory because she's blind (she's the one pictured, she only has one eye and can't see well out of the other). But they were so excited that I couldn't say no. I thought that I'll give them a quick lap around the park across the road and still have enough time to do my own beach walk. Well, trying to get Trixie into her harness rather than try and eat it took 5 minutes. I gave up and decided to just put her lead on inside. Another 5 minutes of running around playing with the lead! Then the cats wanted to come. Then Trixie wouldn't cross the road (because she couldn't see). The entire event took 30 minutes and I ran out of time to do my own walk. But still, I was grateful to watch Trixie play with her lead. I was grateful to see Keira still get excited about walks even though she can't go far. I was grateful to be outside to try and help a woman locate her missing cat. Let go of expectations and you can't be disappointed. Embrace where you are now and what you're doing right now. Always planning the future can lead to frustration if you don't get what you thought you wanted. Look for the magic and have a beautiful day

13.01.2022 See anything weird from me lately? My Facebook account was hacked in April and I was kicked out as admin of my own page! I couldn't post anything or get into the backend to kick out the people who hacked me. So, if you saw any weird posts on this page for wedding dresses or fake Keto pills, rest assured I haven't lost my mind! That was the work of the hackers. I'm back in control of my page and hopefully we've seen the last of the hackers. ... I do have an exciting announcement coming in the next few days, so stay tuned. 09.01.2022 Once I have: - Reached a certain weight or dress size - The right information - The time - Enough money... Then I do all the things I want to do to be healthy and happy. Does this sound like you? Because this was me. Always waiting for circumstances to change and give me permission to take action then nothing changed. The longer I kept waiting for things to change the more I was doomed to just keep repeating myself over and over again. And I realised after many days, months, weeks and years going by that I was in the same place. My health even started to slip further over time, whilst my mindset stayed in the exact same place waiting to have the right circumstances or some sort of permission to get what I wanted for my body and my happiness. A lot of things you’re waiting on to change are outside of your control. So, you’re giving your power over to events and people outside of you in regards to your dreams, your health, your body. If you’re waiting for the timing to be right how long do you intend to wait? Or worse yet, are you waiting to hit rock bottom before you get catapulted into action? We all know people who have been affected by cancer and disease and I don’t want you to have to have an ultimate wake up call before you take action. There never seems to be enough time, money or permission so you end up waiting to have those things and that’s why, after a while, you feel like you’re stuck and you just can’t see a way forward and that’s a crappy place to be. But it won’t change if you keep on waiting for things outside of you to change - this has to be an inside job. Because who hasn't already been thinner, healthier or whatever and still had crazy hang ups and stress about the EXACT SAME CRAP YOU’RE STILL WORRIED ABOUT TODAY? 04.01.2022 Do you get good sleep? Studies have shown that when people are sleep deprived they actually tend to have a really hard time losing fat from their bodies. And, it decreases the amount of fat you lose even when you're eating a lower calorie diet and it promotes you losing more muscle mass

03.01.2022 What causes "belly bloat" when you're a woman who is FAB (Forty And Beyond)? If you're thinking things like hormonal changes and a build of up toxins in your body from every day pollutants and maybe overdoing the alcohol and sugar then you'd be right - partly. One of the biggest unknown contributing factors is unresolved emotions - in particular grief, loss and guilt. Women tend to find their uterus and pelvic bowl a really handy place to stuff all of these emotions instead ...of dealing with them or feeling them fully so that they can be released. Miscarriages, terminations, the death of loved ones, the end of relationships (even if you knew it was the right thing), the death of pets (who to many are like their children), losing a job, children leaving home. All of these are felt deeply but are so painful we tend to push them down and push on with life. If you are experiencing belly bloat that won't seem to go away no matter what it's because your body is trying to get your attention and to let you know that now is the time to bring these old painful events up, cleanse them and release them.
