14.01.2022 Next years seasonal Pat Collins workshops are live and and in person, so looking forward to all that 2021 is going to bring!! Our first workshop is in March and will be on creating your very own Natural First Aid Kit. Date - Saturday the 6th of March... Time - 9 am - 5 pm Cost - $135 Where - BARE Nature’sKin River Flats Estate 500 Wollombi Road In this workshop, you will create your own herbal first aid kit made from natures finest gifts. We will begin the day with a farm walk lead by Pat identifying useful herbs/weeds. You will learn how to incorporate and appreciate them for their benefits and as messengers that tell us about our soil and it’s condition. We will then make 16 herbal remedies to take home including; capsules, creams, ointments, tinctures, rescue remedy and flour de salts. These will help heal wounds, burns, stings, bits and boost your immunity the way nature intended. All ingredients, jars, bottles and a delicious vegetarian lunch feast are included in the cost. 03.01.2022 Spectacular weekend for it! Riverflats Estate is looking amazing after more rain and the flowers and trees are singing with bees. Our Olive trees are full of blooms and our beehives under the rainbow tree have had a tidy up as there was no more space in the hive. A very interesting and knowledgeable Apiarist dropped by yesterday and we spent the day cleaning up the hives and extracting the honey together.
