16.01.2022 Making a product that was gentle on both the planet and humans was at the forefront of our mission at baresop This meant that the ingredients within our handwash powder formula could not, in any way, harm the earth, or the people and creatures that inhabit the earth. The common issue we see in most antibacterial handwash isn't just the single-use plastic it comes in - but the overload of chemicals within the ingredients ... Unfortunately, our wastewater treatment facilities are not equipped to filter out all the chemicals we, as humans, flush down This means that many chemicals end up in our fresh and saltwater ecosystems where they are extremely dangerous to animals, plants, and ultimately, to our drinking water and health. Sometimes the chemicals within antibacterial handwash formulas are more harmful to our health than the germs they kill! After much process and research, we decided 'less is more' and cut down on lots of unnecessary ingredients, leaving us with 100% natural ingredients that are all plant-based, cruelty-free, palm oil-free, and locally-sourced
