04.01.2022 It is with heavy heart that we regretfully have to inform our loyal customers and fans that Bar 40 has to close our doors until further notice as a result of the Coronavirus (Covid 19) outbreak. We have tried every measure possible but the only way to stop the spread of this virus is to close our doors and have minimal contact with the outside world. Whilst some bars could do takeaways, we feel this would not be right for our customers as they will not be able to enjoy the Ba...r 40 experience which has made us famous around the globe. First we lost our sports to this diabolical virus and now we have lost our Bar. The team here at Bar 40 wishes everyone the best and hope you can all remain safe and healthy. For the time being, it’s time to bunker down and watch repeats of old NRL classics and try stop this virus from spreading further in our community. We will be back stronger again and will ensure to provide the same experience you have all been accustomed to. Cheers Bar 40 Management

03.01.2022 Some of you are concerned regarding recent news that indoor gatherings are limited to 100 people. Luckily that doesn’t apply to Bar 40 as we have a capacity of just 40 people. It should be noted that the team here at Bar 40 will not be closing as per media reports but will be monitoring the situation closely and ensuring that our customers are safe and can go somewhere to enjoy a drink or feed. The team will be playing repeats of the 2008 NRL grand final where Manly beat Me...lbourne 40 nil to get you guys through this difficult and unusual period of time. Cheers Bar 40 Management
