23.01.2022 Trusting that anyone who takes the time to look at our site will have a wonderful and safe Christmas wherever you are ,and who ever you are doing it with. MERRY CHRISTMAS From the merry Elves at Bargara Mens Shed.

22.01.2022 With some 6 months left on our lease at Community Lifestyle Support on Ashfield Road, Kalkie, the Bargara Men’s Shed Inc. has been actively seeking out a suitable plot of land on which to establish our Shed (pictured) that will serve our members and the communities of the Burnett Heads to Elliott Heads coastal strip of the Bundaberg Region. Our Shed's core objective is to enhance the well-being, self-value and the health of men. During this period we have made more than thirty proposals to land holders. These land holders include the State Government, Bundaberg Regional Council, Corporations, Business and Private Community Members. If we are unable to secure a suitable plot of land before April 2021, then our Shed will be left with no other option than to close. Private contact can be made via President, Peter Ryan on 0499 542 420.

08.01.2022 Today we had our instruction on the use of our new defibrillator, so we should be able to save a few lives should the need arise. Pictured are Bruce Hornsby , our instructor Daniel , who by the way did a great job, President Allan Davison and Stan Beyers ,Treasurer. The defib machine was all made possible with a grant through the Bundaberg Regional Council, a big thank you for that.... Looks like I have misplaced the photo. Cheers Mike Brady

04.01.2022 As we approach the end of another year I would like to take the opportunity of thanking all of those people that have made offers of any goods , either accepted or regrettably rejected due to our lack of storage capability at our current location. Special thanks goes out to all of our customers that we have either made things for , or restored items for. We look forward to making or restoring goods in the coming new year .

03.01.2022 Jack (Sandy) Moore (left) and Mike Brady are proud of the work they have done in restoring this wagon wheel.
