24.01.2022 The Taste of Bundaberg, this is what we commonly refer to our Mango, Pineapple and Macadamia Jam Using the mangoes we pick during our summer season of mangoes here in Bundaberg, the pineapples grown here at Gooburrum and of course macadamia chips supplies by https://www.macadamiasaustralia.net/... 19.01.2022 We have been busy picking and packing our fresh premium strawberries for you this morning. They sure are eating very sweetly. Open 10.30 to 4.30 each day this week. How full is your loyalty card.. 12 stamps is all you need. I know there are some cards that are nearly full. ... Spend more than $20.00 in any one transaction. Receive a stamp on our card. Receive 12 stamps and your card can be redeemed for a $20.00 in store credit, to be used at either of our 2 great locations. We will be drawing one of the redeemed loyalty cards on Thursday. Have you filled your card with stamps to go into the drawer for a gift hamper from Cha Cha Chocolates. 12.01.2022 Our 2020 season has finished. This year has been the inaurgural year opening the farm to the public. Bargara Berries @ Meadowvale... Even though we have owned the property since 1988, and grown strawberries commercially since 2003, this is the first season of really encouraging you to our farm. We have been encouraged with your reaction to our journey. 2020 what a year it has been! Michael and I along with our son Josh who keeps the farm running while we are off selling would like to thank you all for a fantastic year. It has been the start of farmgate sales and icecream sales along with the new packing shed the list goes on. But without our valued customers it all would fail so thanks again for your support. We are now expanding the fields for more berries so we can keep up with demand. We will have a break so we will be bright eyed and bushy tailed ready to start the 2021 season. 09.01.2022 Happy workers and happy customers are all on my mind this morning. Most of our strawberries are picked by backpackers. Whilst we do the majority of the packing and the selling, the girls do the picking. Saturday we sadly said goodbye to one of our girls, her time was up, and she has another job to hunt down in her field of expertise here in Australia. We wish Emily well.... The support for our jams, sauces and relishes has been very encouraging. These three customers have returned after initial visits especially to purchase our products. Drop in and pick up some this week. At either of our great locations, 100 Hughes Road, Bargara, 104 Hoods Road, Meadowvale Apricot Jam, be quick, very quick, Plum Worchestershire Sauce, will be made again this week, And the Sweet Chilli Sauce. Once you buy this one, you will be back for more. very very nice. And did I mention Ice Creams, they are delicious, smooth and creamy, best Ice Cream in Bundaberg, made especially for us with our own fruit.

Bargara; or 104 Hoods Road, Meadowvale. When you come into the store at Bargara the aroma of something being created on the stove will often greet you. The sweet smell of Strawberry Jam, the amazing smell of Tomato Relish, or even the spices of the Plum Worcestershire Sauce. Using local ingredients like our strawberries, Derek’s Mangos, Austchilli chillis; we know every ingredient that is being used. There is love and passion in every bottle and jar and this can only compare to the joy in your life when you add these artisan products to your everyday meals. The wild Rosella a delectable tart fruit jam with a deep, sharp flavour that lends itself favourably with meats as well as a spread. We had a busy day cooking in the shop at 100 Hughes Road Bargara yesterday.... Rosella Jam, Apricot Jam, Mango and Ginger Jam all prepared ready for you. With the rosellas, we start them ourselves from seed this time of the year, yes plants are available for you to buy, grow them and pick them late summer.
