02.01.2022 Flywheeler Accolades The Border Flywheeler’s Club was established in 1995 with the aim of collecting, restoring and exhibiting tractors, machinery, engines and... other artefacts used by the farming community along the Murray Darling Basin. The Club consists of a group of like minded volunteers who enjoy these activities and see the need to preserve this history. The club is instrumental in providing members with a friendly environment where they can come together to keep their minds and bodies active while doing what they love. On Saturday 11 July, the Museum Opened for the first time to the public after closing for months due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Malcolm Boyd was awarded with a Life Membership of the Border Flywheelers Club Inc at the recent AGM. Malcolm has worked tirelessly on projects at the Museum including the rebuild of a first world war Gun Member. Chris Adams, also received an award for her dedication to curation at the club. Unable to attend her husband Padge collected on her behalf.
