22.01.2022 So, last Friday-Saturday, the Fab 11 participated in our final Applied Suicide Intervention Skills (ASIST) workshop for the year. Baringa Community Centre at Ca...loundra West was just the right venue at the southern end of the Coast. This fine group of folks are now Community Connectors and part of our network of people ready, willing and able to have conversations about suicide, listen to stories, help link people to hope and other support if needed. We all have a part to play in creating suicide safer communities ..........

This workshop is being held at Baringa Community Centre 20 Edwards Tce, Caloundra West from 8.30-4.30 on both days. 05.01.2022 Tween Talk - (Parent session) This session for parents and carers of preadolescent girls will focus on problem-solving, challenges pre-teen girls have in managing emotions, obstacles in day to day life and how to best support them during puberty. The 1.5 hour session will be hosted by Jessica Barker from Headstart Psychology who has developed and delivers a range of Tween workshops including navigating friendships, puberty, body image, and goal setting.... There will be a small amount of places for child minding available. Registration of all attendees (adults and children) is essential due to Covid-19 protocols and room size restrictions.
