My background is in Design Technologies and STEM where I have spent the last decade working in primary, secondary and university settings. 24.01.2022 JUNIOR COLLEGE UNIFORM We are very excited to showcase our Junior College Uniform. The College uniform is to be worn to and from the College every day by our students. ... Students may however wear their sports uniform to and from the College on the days that their year level has a timetabled HPE class. The exception to this is on a Wednesday when our full College Summit occurs, where every student must wear their College uniform to and from the College. If students have HPE lessons timetabled on Wednesday, students will bring their sport uniform to change into as directed by their teacher. Our uniforms will be available for purchase from The School Locker in Maroochydore from 1st January, 2021.

20.01.2022 MEET SCOTT - HOD The Arts & HPE Hello everyone! I am Scott Gaedtke and I am thrilled to be a foundation Head of Department at Baringa State Secondary College. In 2021, my core purpose will be to inspire a love of The Arts and Health and Physical Education at our amazing College. I look forward to positively engaging with your students, where respect, integrity and courage is at the forefront of everything we do. I have a vast experience as a music artist, where I have perf...ormed throughout Queensland and Internationally. One of my greatest loves is Musical Theatre. I look forward to sharing my skills with you all. Our College has amazing sporting facilities which I’m sure your students will thoroughly enjoy! My background is in Senior English and Ancient History. I am passionate about designing programs that will inspire students to find a love of reading and an interest to learn about the world. ... As a parent of a teenager myself, I believe it takes a community to raise our students to become active global citizens, who respect each other’s culture, empathise and contribute positively to our community. 11.01.2022 Welcome to our newly appointed seven Heads of Department and Administration Officer who are very excited to be foundation staff at Baringa State Secondary College. We had the pleasure of visiting our College on Wednesday 7 October and it was exciting to see the progress of construction. Flooring has commenced in Administration and the Student Centre, internal walls installed with painting underway in general learning areas and cabinetry installed in Hospitality classrooms.
