20.01.2022 During the installation of a new transducer we noticed this. It's the main fuse on the power supply to every accessory in this boat. This would have started from a tiny cut in the wires insulation before being penetrated by salt water, the green you see is the copper wire corroding. In this case the wire was more than 50% corroded through. Not only would the increase in the wires resistance be causing all sorts of weird electrical problems, in no time at all, without any wa...rning this wire would break leaving this boat without any navigation, communication or lighting equipment, a less than ideal situation for an offshore fishing boat.
