22.01.2022 Here's our star guest at the moment, a beautiful big girl who Benjamin has fallen in love with! I've never heard him wax nostalgic about a dog before like he does this girl (Not even his own, almost!) Ben plays with her several times a day, and since she's good natured and returns when he calls, he lets her out to run around the whole fenced in compound, though she prefers playing ball with him. :D

21.01.2022 It's getting warm isn't it! Just letting you know, keeping your pets cool and comfortable is important to us. We have a fully air conditioned cattery for cats, with individual cages for when the not-so-social puss-cat’s get their time out to roam about the whole room. If everyone is fixed up, and gets along, everyone is out (which happily is quite common!)... The dogs have individual shaded runs, where they can see and smell other dogs, but they can’t get in their space. They also have private kennels if they want some solitude. They get the breeze, but better yet, we have a misting system set up over every single kennel, so EVERY dog gets a cool off. It’s set on a timer, and goes off strategically throughout the whole day to ensure the dogs are all kept as cool as possible. The nice thing about the mister is, even dogs that don’t like water will sit downwind of it, since its not a soggy spray. We have 2 big yards for energetic dogs, or groups of work dogs, and these guys get paddle pools. :D See our past videos for big dogs sharing paddle pools and sloshing water everywhere!

20.01.2022 *Melodramatic voice* My brother got fanged playing with the hose with one of the dogs! (he's fine, this post is in fun) The pooch leaped and actually caught the hose end-and scraped a knuckle with a fang! Rarely do we get caught with hose play (we're pros )... Pooch don't care though, pooch got things to do! He has water to chase!

18.01.2022 Unfortunately at this time I can't check facebook for messages until the evening when I look on my computer. Facebook had decided that on my phone I -must- use facebook messenger, only facebook messenger doesn't allow me to see or reply to business messages. I'll sort it asap

18.01.2022 Fireworks tonight! We love them, but not all of our furbabies do! Here are some tips from around the web, and ones we have found useful (we have three that don't like fireworks) Check your fencing- if your dog can jump the fence, consider keeping them inside during the possible 8pm, and midnight fireworks. Give your dog somewhere to hide (outside or in) ... I have a footstool under a computer desk, with a mat beneath it. The back is enclosed, and it has mats and padding on stool and under to dull the noise. One dog goes under the stool, one on top. If inside, close doors and windows to keep the sharp sounds to a minimum Have the TV or music playing, to blur the sounds. If you have a dog coat that fits them snugly, put it on as a 'thunder jacket'- if not, here are DIYs with items found at home. Use a happy, reassuring tone of voice while interacting with your dog. Be calm yourself. Don't fret for them, don't mimic them, or sound upset or overly-consoling - this will make them feel their fear is legitimate. Pet and fuss them, reassure them, but don't sound like they have something to worry about- happy voice! Happy body language! Everything's fine! Best of all, if you have a dog bone or a chew treat, or a new boy tucked away somewhere, get that out, and try to play with your dog with it while the fireworks are going on- good connections! Not all dogs will allow themselves to be distracted, comforted or consoled, but keeping their attention away from the fireworks as best you can will help. Have an awesome evening, and a great year!

17.01.2022 One of our gorgeous visitors :D A true gentleman!

17.01.2022 "And now that I have selected my noble steed, time to take over the world!" Mudge, the smooge! Look at this cat! she sits on top of the cat cages, and descends to grace my hat with her presence, and smooge me!

16.01.2022 The furbaby face of utter relaxation. May your furbabies be bringing you smiles too

12.01.2022 Here we see two new residents staying with us! We apologize for our shaky-cam, as the camera-man can't stand steady with one foot and holding his camera in one hand. However, Max and Jack-Jack don't seem to mind him too terribly. Jack-jack seems to thoroughly enjoy playing kickball with him. But while Max doesn't seem too fussed on the entire affair, he does like to enjoy with a good belly rub and a cuddle. Hopefully, their mum is enjoying relaxing on a beach somewhere, missing cuddles and love licks from two furry babies.

10.01.2022 Hello everyone! It's so nice to get out and about again isn't it? For those asking, yes indeed we do have space and we'd love to care for your furbabies! You can book via message here on facebook, or for more instant answers and completion, call our landline, 4787 1679 ... And keep safe, wash your hands, wear clean underwear, don't pick up any bad pennies, get a haircut and- uh.. i think I got off track... have an excellent day

10.01.2022 Apogies for the lack of videos and pictures this xmas! I have ridiculous bursitis in my hip so am hobbling around home with an ice pack tied to it. If you're worried about your furbaby or need to see them for comfort of mind, just send us a PM and we'll specifically send you details or pictures My lovely brother and his girlfriend are helping Ben up the kennels, but when its so busy it's hard to remember to take video/pictures! Pictures and videos is nornally my job.

06.01.2022 We're still kicking, though like many others, business is quiet. We hope you and yours are well, and that the dramas you're experiencing right now can be resolved in time. Stay strong everyone <3
