23.01.2022 I get it. We are all super excited that we can start work early. Our plan at this stage on converting my business to a couple of trailers out the front of my house and one around the side. We're not allowed to be mobile. so we're going to be fixed. Which means that you'll have to come to us to get your dog done. We're going to set up some pens out the front and rebook everyone in. The good news is we will be able to get more dogs done each day because we won't have to travel ...to your houses. Every booking will be rebooked between the 28th of September and the 26th of October. If you have an existing booking on those times you will keep that day but there will be a time adjustment, because now we don't have to travel we can fit more dogs in. Unfortunately we won't have facilities available for you guys to hang around while your dogs getting done. (Maybe go grocery shopping?) Once I've reallocated the existing bookings which will start tomorrow. (800 bookings will take a bit to get though so give me a couple of days) I'm going to ask that you confirm that you are happy to bring the dog to us to keep your appointment. Once those 800 bookings are allocated I'll start sending messages to book in for everyone else who doesn't normally book in advance but have sent us a message over the last 6 weeks See more

22.01.2022 We are going to race until the lockdown. Please call us to book in. 0411184654. Our brand new trailer, hasn't even got stickers yet but has been called into action! We have availability Monday and Wednesday. Most of those spots are with Chelsea a couple with Gary and Ryan remain. Keep in mind depending on what tomorrow's announcement is we're probably going to be 6 or more weeks until we can groom your dog again. And when we get back we are going to be flat out!

21.01.2022 I supported the 6 week shut down. Hell I will support 8. But to put off grooming for an additional 6 weeks will mean many dogs will go not 12 weeks but 15 to 22 weeks between appointments if not longer. This isn't acceptable for the health and welfare of the animal. Please sign and share

21.01.2022 Sacrifices are only undertaken because there is a reward. Limbo is not a place I like to be. Right now Victoria is sacrificing a quarter of a million jobs, including dog grooming. All appointments are cancelled.... I've read that anything that could be put off for the next 6 weeks, must be put off for the next 6 weeks. That doesn't mean there isn't an opportunity here Over the next two weeks everyone who's booked in will receive a SMS with their new updated appointment time base on availability. I want to help you guys as best I can and fit as many overdue dogs in as possible. Between now and the 1st of November we are waving all Matting fees. I encourage you to comb your dogs with a steel comb as many of you have seen us do. The more you comb your dogs the more chance we can maintain lamb cuts and longer clip styles. We are also going to be changing the days we operate based on location. Details to come over the next 2 weeks. From the ashes of coronavirus Bark and Sparkle will rise as a phoenix.

17.01.2022 Guys .... relax. We are restarting on Monday the 28th of September. As a fixed location operator We will be located at 32 San sisto green Mernda... Until the 26th of October. When we renew mobile services. Calling me, texting me etc, doesn't guarantee anything, I am not booking anyone any sooner. You don't skip the queue or anything. 16.01.2022 Update: Our overlord and master the Supreme Eminence Lord and Saviour premier Dan Andrews, Has advised his decree will wait until 24 hours before our reopening on Monday for confirmation. Which means unfortunately I don't know what I'm doing until then, best case scenario. This isn't limited just to dog grooming but all Industries on his road map.... As a small business I'm mortified. It's taken the better part of a week to get everyone organised for Monday and this idiots, now going to give me 24 hours. I get he doesn't give a stuff about small business, but the Labour Party won't be getting my vote any time soon. At this stage I plan on going forward with our bookings on Monday unless I received something otherwise. If I'm unable to work on Monday I will let each of you know and offer to reschedule you for when mobile services can resume on the 26th of Oct onwards. See more

12.01.2022 Dogs mean everything to me. I hate seeing them suffer. I'm not allowed to work. I hope the government lets me get back to work before the 26th of October.... But in the mean time..... starting on the 13th of September. - Two people or a household can meet outdoors for a maximum of two hours for social interaction, exercise or recreation - within 5km of their home Well on Tuesday, Friday and Saturday at 9:30am till 10:30am I will offer some bits and pieces for FREE. If you want to come visit me for some social interaction Overgrown nails. Fringe trims. Eye scissors. Matt removal (within reason) Removal of dags on backsides. Happy to discuss and talk about maintaining your dogs in lockdown as well. Its not work because you won't be paying me. There is no obligation here. No appointments. Walk up and ill do it. They won't Sparkle but they will feel better Keep in mind this isn't a full grooming service. There will be no washing, bathing, clipping or whatever. This is just to make your dogs as comfortable as possible. 10 min or less. I don't care whether you normally use my service or not. You've got to have a mask on and please respect normal safe distancing requirements. Please just come with you and your dog, the fewer people the better. 11.01.2022 We definitely can work Wednesday till midnight and I'm booked out till then. ......after that well I've been watching all day it's been an absolute shit show. Jim's dog washing was all steam ahead, has since remove posts that confirm that. hydro dog/blue wheelers a claiming we can go ahead and their franchisees still gotta pay their fees if they chose to close and arguing with franchisees at the moment. Another phone call to the covid business line says we are allowed out f...or urgent and emergency grooming only there is an immediate danger to the welfare of the animal. Aka shut down. My Federal Member has said keep working, My state member said shut shop. The best interpretation I've had is "if this is something that can be put off for 6 weeks, then you must put it off" So here's what I'm going to do I'm going to shut on Thursday and Friday and reassess on Friday.

11.01.2022 Starting tomorrow everyone who's made a booking since Lockdown began will start to receive their re-scheduled message notification to get their dogs groomed and washed etcetera etcetera. I've got about 700 bookings to allocate again so it will take me a few days to get through it all. If you guys can do me a favour and give your dogs a comb that would be fantastic. 04.01.2022 Well we are still shut down. Appointments booked from the 13th to the 27th will be rescheduled and have first preference. We're going to wait to see and ensure that we're on the list of permitted businesses allowed to continue to operate before we reallocate. You'll keep the same groomer and the day. Obviously the times will be jiggled around depending on what's available. Will take me a few days to reallocate around 270 appointments.... Realistically it's going to be 10 plus weeks between bookings for most clipping clients. Unless you're combing your dogs at least once a week (preferably twice a week) and they are relatively tangle-free, unfortunately you can expect a pretty close shave. See more

04.01.2022 Well somebody has a problem with me helping out your animals. Despite getting the ok from the hotline, we've been very firmly instructed by the police to stop. Somebody has reported us. We've been issued a warning and as a result you will need to go and pay A vet the consult fee if you'd like some of the bits and pieces I've been doing for free,to help out your pets. I'm sorry that I can't assist because some people have ruined it for everybody. This is why we don't have nic...e things. We resume services as a fixed location on the 28th of September and mobile services will hopefully resume on 26th of October, subject to government approval.

03.01.2022 With the uncertainty surrounding the end of lock down and restrictions, I'm going to stop taking bookings for now. Will respond and get back to everyone once the government confirm if we're allowed to reopen on the 14th. Please keep in mind we already booked out until early October at this stage. If you already have an appointment and restrictions are extended I will rebook the next available for that same day, aka if you've got an appointment on a Monday you will get the next available spot on a Monday I'm allowed to open on. Those with the existing appointments will get the first lot of bookings with the same groomer, followed by everyone else once they've all been reallocated.
