23.01.2022 This is important: we've had reports that certain venues are sending out emails and other messages asking musicians to play for free. This is not on. While ever...yone is struggling to get through the crisis and all attempts to get music and businesses up and running again are welcome, we have to make the point that musicians need to be treated the same as all workers: if a venue is opening, serving drinks and food, they'll be paying staff. If they also want to put on safe gigs, the musicians deserve to be paid a fair fee. Musicians Australia members have a simple and fair plan to fix the music industry: fees for all gigs; make gigs safe; and no undercutting. www.musiciansaustralia.org.au

21.01.2022 Our first shipment of new goodies arrived today. 4x JBL VRX918 Subs 2x JBL VRX932 Array Boxes Trusses and flying gear... Amps Can't wait to get this unpacked, second shipment should be coming in soon! While we're not a fan of moving things with the ute, at the moment it's a means to an end. When we ramp back up we're planning on getting a truck with a tail lift.

20.01.2022 First gig since March. Feels surreal. Fully seated 60th birthday party, working with Wildcard who are friends of the family! Also giving our new JBL VRX rig a run!

18.01.2022 Some footage has uncovered of the gig we did last weekend. We can't take responsibility for the feedback, we have a "shut the *bleep* up" button on the console that was hit when it started, I'm looking closely at the guitars for that one!

18.01.2022 We might be down at the moment but we're not out! We've been on the scout for something a tad bigger, and an opportunity has come up that we just couldn't knock back. We are proud announce that we've just secured a JBL VRX system to add to our inventory. With 8x932 tops and 8x918 subs, amps and all the flying gear this system won't disappoint, so keep us in mind for any of your recovery gigs when we're able to get out and start gigging again!... Now, we just need to find something we can haul it with ... maybe something that can double as a stage? Time will tell.

14.01.2022 Am I Ever Gonna (Do a gig again?) A flashback to these dead set legends at Smoke in Broke in 2019. The CRAWFiSH STEW Band, at this time last year we were settling in for the night after the first full day of Smoke In Broke. We were lined up to run the stage again this year but alas it was not to be. Looking forward to next year though!

09.01.2022 In what was a large room last might we decided to setup the full indoor rig with Wildcard at the Oberon RSL Club. Got an opportunity to try some new things, figured out some bugbears in the system and had a really really good night.

08.01.2022 Most of our gigs don’t qualify for the current crowd restrictions, but that won’t mean our events won’t be cancelled either.

06.01.2022 A bit of a sobering moment today, all the gear for the business is now in storage, keeping our plane company in the hangar. Bit of a sad moment but when this all picks back up again it’ll be there waiting for us. On a positive note I might have some new toys coming our way, hopefully should put us into a new category when things do pick back up again!

05.01.2022 We're still looking forward to this gig, but, maybe just a little later in the year. Completely understand and support the decision of the organisers. When a new date is announced, we'll be waiting and ready!

02.01.2022 Been a couple of rumours going around after I listed the van for sale, a few have made the comment I’m getting out of the business!! Ahhhhh, yeaaaah, NOPE! Fact is we are in some downtime at the moment, and there has been some very cheap gear on the market. We’ve just secured a significant upgrade to the system, and, well, it wasn’t gonna fit.... While we have the downtime, we chose to move the van on, and when this all comes back again, we’ll move to something bigger, better, and with a tail lift!
