25.01.2022 We cater for the Fussiest Cat here at Barkers..right down to human tuna or sardines..and had one that would only eat roast chicken!! Their health and well being is our Priority..we LUV Happy Cats here!!!

24.01.2022 **HAPPY TAIL*** On 28/04/20 Lucy went missing from her families shop "The Feed Shed" in Beaconsfield. It was thought that maybe she had hitched a ride in or under a vehicle as she was absolutely nowhere to be found in Beaconsfield. Her family embarked on a huge search, never giving up, and we shared her post over and over again. There were sightings that turned out not to be her, but still they did not give up.... Today 29/06/20, they got a phone call that Lucy had been found in Winkleigh, some 20 minutes drive away. Welcome home Lucy, one very happy family and one very happy kitty. Two long months later. Just more proof that you should never ever give up xxx

When Leo he was a kitten, I made sure I created a positive association with his crate. Tip 1: Start from the moment you bring you bring your kitten home. Tip 2: Have the carrier in an area of the house that your cat/kitten frequents so they become very familiar with it.... Tip 3: Feed meals in the crate with the door open. It's looking like most of the borders are going to be opening up by December....if you are thinking of going away please consider your Pets accomodation now.... Our Cattery is heated, has a fireplace, and all their Lil beds are also heated, they are NOT in cages..plenty of room to move with jumping stations and toys!! And we feed fresh meat as well and Dine and Fancy Feast Wet and Dry!
