Whenever you hear that someone is planning to get a cat or a dog, try to persuade them to adopt instead... of buying from a breeder. There are so many beautiful, unlucky and forever-grateful pets who have been abandoned and deserve a good home. Never buy from a pet shop and always at least check out your local rescue centre. 12.01.2022 There are always some pretty grim treats for sale but this time of year it really is a perfect excuse to off load the biggest load of toxic tat for our dogs to ..."enjoy" as a treat. Many of these so called treats end up with the dog "enjoying" some time in a veterinary surgery over Christmas The vast majority of these rawhide products and treats come from China... The chews are made from cattle or horse hides and their journey starts with the hides being soaked in a toxic sodium sulphide to remove the hair and fat. More chemicals are used in order to split the hide into layers which is then washed with hydrogen peroxide to give the white "pure" look and remove the rancid smell. Now comes the pretty festive colours and the glue to form cute shapes. On testing, these chews have shown traces of arsenic, mercury, chromium and formaldehyde. If that wasn`t bad enough they regularly cause intestinal blockages, poisoning from chemical residue and choking. The chews go slippery when wet and are near impossible to get hold of to save a choking dog Leave them in the shop where they belong opt for natural treats such as dried meats, antlers, horns, ears, hooves, carrots and many more, Theres loads to choose from!

NEW FAMILY ****** URGENT!!! ******* ITS ME, DOMINO, & I AM PET OF WEEK AT $99.00 BUT I AM STILL HERE WAITING. I HAVE BEEN HERE SINCE THE START OF 2019 & I DONT KNOW WHY NOBODY WANTS ME. Im a really good boy. I know how to sit, I come when Im called and I take my treats gently so why did my family leave me here in the pound? I cant think of anything I did wrong. Maybe they just didnt love me anymore and didnt care about me. I still look for them though just in case they change their mind but the longer I am here, the more I realise they are not coming back for me I have been observed playing very nicely beside the friendly female dog in the exercise area beside me but if you have another doggie friend at home you MUST bring them in to meet me, along with your kids as well.
