23.01.2022 Whilst the Batchelor Museum is open tomorrow and Thursday, the cafe side of Barking Owls will not be open. You will still be able to buy cold drinks and ice creams though. Ill be back on Friday to look after my lovely local customers and our valuable tourists as well. Cheers, Denise

22.01.2022 The first week of being open has been an interesting and encouraging experience. With copious coffees and plenty of pots of tea, terrific toasties (toasted sandwiches) and scrumptious cakes and things, the compliments we have received have brought smiles all round at Barking Owls. 06.01.2022 Last customers of the day yesterday ordered 1 Ginger Beer on ice and 2 Iced Coffees. A mum and dad who live in Darwin and their grown daughter who has lived in Melbourne for some years now. Daughter told me that she has Coffees all over Melbourne (& they love their coffee in Melbourne!) and the Iced Coffee I made for her was "the BEST she has EVER had, anywhere!!" Thanks for the great compliment. Must say, they are pretty good!!! Come alone and try one for yourself. Youll become a regular in no time!! Loyalty Cards available soon!!

02.01.2022 Barking Owls Gift & Coffee Shop, in the entry building of the Batchelor Museum in Kirra Cres., will open on Thursday 29th March. Know simply as Barking Owls, come along and enjoy a coffee, something to eat and have a look around. You will find it a very peaceful place to relax and unwind. Take your time and be fascinated by the knowledge you will gain as you check out the Museum too. Only $5 entry to the Museum, kids under 13 free. Meet your friends at Barking Owls... 02.01.2022 Hosted a sit down dinner at Barking Owls last night. Set up in the breezeway, it was a lovely atmosphere, plenty of room and delightful people. Just needed a camera with a flash on it!!
