10.01.2022 Barkly Regional Arts is proud to present our latest short documentary, 'Live and Let Dye' Available on all our social platforms! Join Barkly Arts, as we take you through the communities of Canteen Creek, Epenarra and Elliott to give a batik workshop to the local artists.... The workshop was facilitated by Alice Springs artist Chris Ng, who assisted the artists with their works. This was one of the last workshops organised by our previous Visual Arts Coordinator Georges Bureau, pushed to be under taken after his departure from Barkly Arts. Thank you very much to the communities and the artists that engaged with our workshop, we're very thankful! Thank you to Chris Ng for helping us with the workshop. Also thank you to the Owairtilla Primary School (Canteen Creek) and the Sport and Recreation Centre with Barkly Regional Council in Epenarra for helping us facilitate the workshops. The materials were purchased from the wonderful people from Sustainable Fashion in Brisbane.

04.01.2022 Just came back from our last trip out to Canteen Creek & Epenarra with a visit and supply drop for the artists for the end of the year. It's also Debbie's last trip out bush before she finishes with Barkly Arts, so we made sure to get a nice solid memory with the artist! We'd love to give a special thanks to all the artists out there in Epenarra & Canteen Creek, we'll be happy to see everyone in 2021!
