25.01.2022 Clean up Australia day is coming up and what better way to help the environment and do our part for the community than ease the rubbish build up around our site!! So we have organised an event around Barkly Square Sunday 1st March at 10am, put on some suitable comfy shoes and come down and join our worthy cause!! All welcome!!... 12.01.2022 Barkly Square is currently closed to the public due to COVID-19, however BGT Jobs + Training and the majority of our tenants are still operating, and are available via phone and email for any enquiries you may have during this time. We would also like to inform you that the Four Corners Cafe is currently closed due to restictions. We look forward to having it up and running again soon and would like to extend our thank you to our valued customers, we look forward to greeting you all with a coffee soon. Stay safe during this time and we look forward to having the building open to the public and back to its busy self again in the near future.

12.01.2022 Barista Foundation course available at Barkly Square! This is a non accredited coffee session designed for all, be it absolute first timers, or those looking for a touch up or refine existing knowledge. It will be a hands on session, with the intention to give you practical experience making coffee and develop your coffee understanding and confidence. Items that will be covered include:... Texturing milk Coffee pouring/ types of coffee Use of machine/ cleaning and closing Grinder On completion you will receive an official BGT certificate recognising completion, and renewed confidence and appreciation for a great coffee! The session is $70 or $55 for concession. Limited spaces available. Please inquire by calling (03) 5333 8626

04.01.2022 The Ballarat Tool Library have put a lot of work into their space here at Barkly Square and are eager for people to see it! They are having a BBQ launch here TOMORROW!! Come along between 10am and 12pm and have a tour of their space and the tools they have available. You will be able to apply to join the library on the day! Make sure you bring photo ID with your address and a recent (last 3 months) bill that matches the address on your photo ID... We hope to see you there!! Note: this will be a COVID-safe event.
