13.01.2022 Due to unprecedented growth Mako Services requires an experienced mechanic to join our team of mobile mechanics based out of Busselton. We are an industrial equ...ipment service company specialising in forklifts, but we do work on a range of Access & Earthmoving equipment, Hiabs, small trucks and varied hydraulic equipment. The role is suited to someone who would like some variety in their job, and is willing to challenge themselves. The position will require travel throughout the south west from our headquarters in Busselton, including throughout the Margaret River wine region, up to Bunbury across to Harvey & Collie, down to Pemberton and anywhere in between. Experience within the forklift industry is preferred but not essential, as on the job training will be provided. You will be required to have great customer service skills, as you will regularly be in contact with our customers on site. To be considered for the position you will need to meet the below criteria: Hold a current WA driving license (MR/HR license an advantage) Mechanical trade certificate Ability to work unsupervised Be a team player willing to assist in training apprentices Willingness to meet both Mako Services and our customers' OH&S policies and procedures Ability to diagnose faults & use diagnostic equipment, including but not limited to electrical and hydraulics Ability to read & interpret technical resources A LPG repairers permit and forklift operator ticket would be held in high regard. You would be expected to provide standard mechanical hand tools and toolbox. We would provide the specialty tools you would require to do the job including a vehicle and PPE.
