20.01.2022 On Behalf of the Barmah Forest Cattleman’s Association, we would like to extend our thanks to all who made the effort to travel to Melbourne and those who brought their horses to ride in the march. One rider commented on how respectful the public were of their horses on the day which made for a fantastic experience. As most of you will have seen, the horses and their riders have garnered the most attention from every news channel and Facebook post/ group. This just further strengthens our fight to keep the Barmah Forest open to all who love it. Special thanks to Susie, Dana, Beaudine Clark Goodwin, Garry Quinsee and Bulley, who left at 4:30am to make the drive to Melbourne with their horses for the day! And Thankyou to our other riders your support was greatly appreciated.
