24.01.2022 Unfortunately due to Covid restrictions we are forced to reschedule our Barmera Lake Bonney Acoustic Vibes event, that was to be held on the 23rd of January. Sa...dly the artist will not be able to enter SA from NSW due to the current border restriction. The new date is set to be Sunday 7th long weekend in March. We apologize for any inconvenience we thank you in advance for your understanding. You do not have to do anything. You should receive new tickets to new date with this email. We understand this date may not suit everyone, so a full refund is available. If Any Acoustic Vibes event is cancelled, rescheduled or postponed due to Covid a full refund is ALWAYS available. 23.01.2022 .......As we all know, 2020 has been a pretty dismal year for most of us, with the official Barmera Christmas Pageant being cancelled due to COVID 19 restrictio...ns. .......Not to be defeated, Barmera had a mini-Christmas pageant on Sunday (13th Dec), which was led by the Barmera CFS, with three Barmera pageant floats, followed by the historic Cobdogla fire truck. The big red Cobby fire truck carried Father Christmas, who hopped out of the truck as we travelled around town and handed lollies out to the kids that were patiently waiting in their street for the arrival of the pageant. .......It was an immensely enjoyable and satisfying experience to share the goodwill and Christmas spirit of the Barmera community amongst our locals and our visitors alike. .......The pageant lasted about 2 1/2 hours as it slowly made its way around the streets of Barmera. We also visited the Barmera Discovery Caravan Park, where we paused while the lead fire truck went off to get more lollies for the kids. While waiting we took the opportunity of allowing small kids, who were staying at the park, to sit on the saddle of the River Princess so that parents could take Christmas memory pics of them whilst visiting Barmera Discovery Caravan Park .......At the end of the parade the tour participants gathered on Bruce Oval so that we could take team pics of the parade floats. I hope that all who got to see the mini pageant enjoyed the experience. .......Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year to all. See more

19.01.2022 We had a great day at the Barmera Main Street Markets on Sunday. The weather wasnt as nice as we had hoped but it was still a great day. Ulysses Club Mallee Branch came through with 200 bikes for the Toy and Tucker Run and received a lot of goodies! Thank you to all and Merry Christmas The markets will be back in January 2021.
