25.01.2022 Well we are still making use of all the barn buddies fencing..! Alice had twin ewe lambs and Opie had twin ram lambs so now they are tucked away with shelter and fox proof fencing..

23.01.2022 Hay Buddies, our open farm plans are put on hold for now until its safe to venture out. One thing that doesnt stop is the constant bottles for orphan lambs (18 of them) and now i am back working off my own farm rearing calves. I just love them and have managed to sneak about 6 home to raise.. Stay safe buddies

22.01.2022 Well well buddies it looks like a few restrictions are being lifted as of next Sunday (May 31st). This is great news as you will be able to have up to 20 people in one area. We are busting to get out to visit you all (events are still a way off) but if you would love a visit we are doing a party farm for the price of a cuddle farm so a farm with lambs goats chickens rabbits guinea pigs for $250 for 1.5 hours saving a massive $120..! It has to be in a 1 hour radius if Korumburra but we look forward to seeing you all soon..!

21.01.2022 It feels great to be outside with our buddies. Today was a lovely little Birthday party for 10 children. The party farm is very popular for celebrations and being very hands on it great value. Standard party farm includes lambs, goats, chickens, rabbits and guine pigs. The turtle sleeps for winter but other seasons they are awake. Very limited availability at the moment.

20.01.2022 We still have a wide range of hens growing out nicely. This group are all female hyline laying hens and are currently 6 weeks old. They will lay big beautiful brown eggs at the start of December. Contact us if you would like your very own backyard chiggens

Bupa is one of the favorite facilities we visit and really hope all our buddies over there stay safe and stay well. We will see them once again on the other side

09.01.2022 With stage 3 restrictions being eased we are back taking booking for small gatherings. *SPRING SPECIAL OFFER 1.5 hours of animal interaction for up to 8 people for only $200. Midweek bookings take a further 10% off including school holidays. Bookings are essential.

08.01.2022 We have been extending our Barn buddies services and venturing into husbandry for valued friends and family. Today took us to a lovely family farm to vaccinate, drench and trim hooves on 17 corriedale sheep and 5 alpacas. The neighbour spotted us and we trimmed his sheep feet as well for him. What i find amusing is they thought there were only 15 sheep, gosh i love sheep maths, the numbers creep up until you loose track. Send us a message if you need help or advice

08.01.2022 Well buddies 2020 has certainly thrown some curve balls hasnt it? I have taken the opportunity to adventure to far north west Victoria (5 km from the S.A border) to do a 5 week stint as a shearers cook on a 30, 000 acre station and they have 45,000 sheep, imagine having to name them..! In the meantime as restrictions ease Barn Buddies will be back in full action (hopefully december) and we cant wait to see you all again.. Stay safe, be kind and love much..

08.01.2022 Sadly we have been saying goodbye to some our lovely guinea pigs to families. Its always a sad day but they will be very loved and enjoyed.

Commercial layers and all girls, fully vaccinated and your family can watch them grow and start laying their eggs at 22 weeks old. 10 each chick and they come in brown white and black.. Available as of Thursday but you will need a brooder box with heat lamp or a clucky hen..!

07.01.2022 On Saturday night we had the pleasure of hosting the Farmily Barn Dance where friends and family gathered at the farm for some fun music and laughter. Farmers that are not as fortunate as us have been struggling for years through drought so we teamed up with Drought Angels (who we have worked with before) and we managed to raise close to $1700.. This will mean 17 farming families will have a full christmas dinner thanks to the generosity of our Buddies.. This is our present..

06.01.2022 When you visit Barn Buddies at events i know some people ask what happens when they grow up? Well over 90% of our lambs goat kids and calves are rescues, we give them a great quality life and rehome as pets only when the right one is found, that may take a while but we always wait..they deserve nothing less. This is a lovely text from a happy hobby farmer.

06.01.2022 Sorry for being so quiet buddies..! I have been working off my own farm at a dairy raising the baby calves. Its a challenging job but so rewarding to see them grow and thrive under our care. I have managed to smuggle a few calves for home as well so although we cannot visit you we are still here and focusing on the future when restrictions are eased and we can venture out again. Mask up stay safe and we will all come through this

06.01.2022 Did you know we have 5 dogs here at the farm? This is Perri and she is a Great Pyrennes Mountain Dog.. Her role here at the farm is to protect the chickens and lambs from predators especially at night time. How do you think she is going? Definately no foxes in the lounge room is there Perri?

01.01.2022 We still have lots happening at the farm even when not out and about. A beautiful new orphan lamb came home yesterday and her name is Winter. We have another 50 chicks in the lounge beside the fire keeping warm. Some things just dont change..
