20.01.2022 Jumping in on a strange tangled structure with floats last month really gave me a flashback to the days I did my Bachelor Degree at Griffith. Whilst I didn’t focus on Ghost nets in particular, I focused on the broader topic of marine debris which made the journey so interesting and educational for me. Just a nice little flash down memory lane appreciating and acknowledging just how much time, effort and dedication it takes to complete any accredited university degree.

If there is one thing that is cherished when it comes to running a small business its time. Up until about six months ago, I was quite generous with my timeemails, calls and advice. When I was invoiced per MINUTE by a financial professional for a service, I realised that regardless of your occupation, time adds up real dam quick. If someone is tickling you for free time, ...here are my three constructive and positively noted tips. 1. If you are on a job, let your phone go to voice mailhaving your head taken away from a job really kills productivity so finish what your doing then address the messages. 2. Advise your tickler that they will need to schedule a meeting/call with you in advance. 3. Start invoicing your time tickler for the 15 minute phones calls, communications and advice Regardless of your profession, your time is valuable and you should not only respect that as a business owner but also as a customer or client too #dontbeatimetickler See more
