25.01.2022 Barnawartha Playgroup is looking for people who are child-free, who have a passion to support parents and carers of young children, to assist us at playgroup. Possible tasks include: making sandwiches, cutting fruit, doing dishes, engaging with the children through play and chatting with parents and carers. If you or someone you know is available on a Tuesday morning 9:00 - 11:30, we would love to hear from you. Please pm us or call 0429557009.

23.01.2022 Barnawartha playgroup is back!! We will be meeting at the Barnawartha playground tomorrow 9:30- 11:30. Please bring your child, their drink bottle and a snack (we recommend a sandwich and a piece of fruit) as we will no be providing snacks in line with CovidSafe measures. Looking forward to seeing how much the children have grown since we could last meet. New faces always welcome.

22.01.2022 What an incredible day!!! We are so lucky to have had a visit from the Barnawartha CFA and their great big fire truck today. Xav was awesome at showing us what all the tools are used for and the children absolutely LOVED having a turn with the hose and seeing the lights flash. 19.01.2022 We are sad to announce that due to current restrictions Banrnawartha playgroup will not be recommencing in term 3. This decision was made in consultation with the school, (as we use their building) and fitting in with guidelines from the department. But most importantly we want to keep all our members and families healthy and safe. ... We all miss you terribly and hope to be back term 4 to see how much the children have grown and share a cuppa together.

18.01.2022 We have some EXCITING news!!!!! Barnawartha playgroup will be running a second day!!!! Come 2nd term we will have both Tues and Wed morn playgroups. This is due to an increase in numbers in our booming community and boy oh boy are we excited!!! So if you would like to join us on a Wed please get in touch, we would love to hear from you!!

16.01.2022 Looking for something fun to do..? The school has put together what looks to be a super fun scavenger hunt around town. A great way to get the kids out and about and using up some of their ( never ending ) energy. Head to the post office (after Friday) for your paper list of clues.. And why not post some photos here when you have completed it. I'm missing all your beautiful faces!!!

09.01.2022 What a fun BLUE themed morning we had this morning. Icing cupcakes, sensory trays, playdough with dinosaurs just to name a few. Then outdoors to run off some of that energy and explore in the sandpit. How lucky we are to have such an incredble space to play in each week. Great job to everyone for dressing up in blue as well. Keep your eyes out for more colour themed days throughout the year.

Pallet kitchen with kumquats, flowers, water, pots and pans. Scented playdoh with beautiful textured petals. Real saws, hammers and measuring tapes. Measured and managed risk. ... 04.01.2022 Due to the health concerns of everybody in our community, we have decided to cancel playgroup for the rest of this term. It is our hope that by the beginning of Term 2 we can run as usual and start our Wednesday group. We will continue to keep you informed. In the meantime we wish everyone a safe and healthy break. Please, if you are in need of anything, please reach out. If it is in our capability we would love to support you through this time.

03.01.2022 Need something to help keep your kids busy this extended break? Why not make a PicturePlate (or clock, drink bottle, mug, pencil case or phone cover)? Barnawartha Playgroup is offering this opportunity over this Easter break. Please get in contact if you would like some templates dropped to your door/letterbox.
