13.01.2022 @naturaledgetimber This is a project we did with the Barnes epoxycast (new formula) so people could see how it comes out compared to other resins. The bubble release at 15mm pour depth is excellent so beginners will find it really easy to use and it also sands very well. The final test for this project was using it to produce a high gloss finish. We actually got a better result with this that We have with some other products I’ve used that are actually dedicated... specifically for top coats. One tip here is to leave the resin for five to ten minutes once you’ve mixed it before pouring . If you use this like a chopping board it’s likely you will scratch it.
