25.01.2022 A great weekend as always up at Tamarang Polo Club inc. Our home team had a very narrow loss in the A Grade final - what a tough game!! James won the Champion Team of Club Ponies with BND Sahara, BND Bublette and BND Jade. All by Nabinabah Rockafella - HSH. Well done to our BND team and especially to Lisa for all her hard work getting these horses in tip top condition. Thanks to everyone involved in running this fun tournament.

25.01.2022 I have known, and PREACHED this ALL my life. Taught to my students too. Finally, someone wrote an article and presented good photos. ORIGINAL POST BY: Runnin...g T Horsemanship, Dana Lovell We are big at teaching the "why" - this was too good not to share. It's the "little" things you do to help your horse that makes them happy and enjoy their time with you. Pulling your saddle pad up into the pommel. It can can take a bit of practice with saddle shifting and pad pulling, but your horse will appreciate it. Without being pulled up, when the saddle is cinched the pad presses down on the withers potentially causing discomfort. With the pad pulled up into the pommel the withers have room to move and there isn't a pressure point. If you aren't already in the habit of doing this the next time you ride put your fingers between the pad and your horses withers while walking or trotting. It's our job to make sure that they can comfortably carry us. This simple shift can help to make that happen.

24.01.2022 Cannot recommend Rob and RP Rural Fencing enough! So great to support local business, but regardless we’ve been so impressed with the quality, speed and professionalism...plus great personable service. Thanks Rob - looking forward to Stage 2.

23.01.2022 Barninedot Bolivia and Damo Allport stretching it out a few months ago. Genuine enquires about Bolivia are welcome. Playing this weekend at Wirragulla. Then will not be available for viewing until next year as we have hay to make and a farm to concentrate on.

20.01.2022 Glenaladale offers the three golden things that are so hard to find Versatility, Location and Productivity. Being just 4.5hours to Sydney and nestled in bet...ween the two horse capitals of Australia, Tamworth and Scone, it certainly lends itself to a few different options for the equine enthusiast. Maybe a stud cattle is your game.. How many places can you walk into with a purpose built facility that is ready to host an on property sale tomorrow and with enough country to run your herd? While the infrastructure is a real show piece don’t overlook the productivity that the Liverpool Plains is renowned for with Glenaladale being suited to both cropping and grazing with the potential to improve more of the grazing country with either pasture or crop. A private location where the options are plenty For more information please contact me or follow the link to my website - www.harcourts.com.au/LTW0005 Joel Fleming 0467 725 195

15.01.2022 Thanks to Townlife North West for some great action shots or our girls in the dust last weekend at Gunnedah.

14.01.2022 For Sale - rising 7yo mare Barninedot Bolivia (BND Batiste/Nabinabah Rockafella -HSH). Registered ASH. Approx 15.2hh. Bolivia is the youngest filly out of Robert’s great mare, Batiste. Full sister to Bomba (played Dudley cup and Ellerston with Dick Doolin), Bonita who played both men’s A Grade and sub-junior polocrosse and Bombalina who’s now in the eventing/SJ world. She’s a genuinely honest mare who would suit the whole family. She’s very sensible and a delight to have aro...und and handle. She would suit men in any grade, women and competent juniors. This mare did lots of work with Gus Boonzaaier, then due to James’ injury last Spring she instead went to play with Damian Allport in Qld from August 2018 and then again up until June 2019. Since coming back to us James has played Bolivia in both B and A Grade, Mick Hockey played her in B Grade....as well as being leant to other local players as our go to reliable horse to offer. She really is coming along beautifully with each game and the more traffic she’s exposed to....and knowing this breed I know she will only get better. She has a level head and will be a good breeding prospect later. Just about to hit her prime, this is her last tournament for the 2019 season playing at Wirragulla this weekend. Please come and see us at the truck if genuinely interested as happy to keep her for my own junior riders that are up and coming . See more

09.01.2022 And that’s a wrap for polo 2019! What a fun spring season we’ve had despite the gut wrenching, horrible and relentless drought. The dust has been less than ideal, the fields certainly less than perfect, but what else would we be doing? The horses went so well at Wirragulla on the weekend, just like they have all season - couldn’t be more thankful and proud of every one of them tied up to our truck this year. Thanks to Lisa Kunst and Willem Beek for not only taking care of our... team like they are their own but also having them in tip top fitness. Also big thanks to Kat for getting the horses started on their fitness regime earlier on - we all still miss you. James had a ball on them and that’s owing to all you guys, as well as the fabulous ponies!! A huge thankyou must definitely go out to my Dad, Robert Doolin!! Without you.....not one of these horses would exist, nor would James and I be doing what we’re doing with the horses and polo. Your contribution on a daily basis, everyday of the year, to the Bar Nine Dot horses is the backbone of the stud and it just wouldn’t work, it couldn’t be possible, without you on the team. Thanks Legend!! See more

03.01.2022 FEEDING HORSES BEFORE EXERCISE The question of whether you should feed a horse before exercise is one that is commonly asked. Most of us were told over and over... again by our parents not to swim for 30 minutes after eating or we would get a muscle cramp, so we generally tend to think that eating before exercise is not a wise thing to do. But is this the case for horses? The answer is yes and no keep reading here to find out IF and WHAT you should feed before work: See more

02.01.2022 These two gorgeous girls by HAYDON ZANE - HSH have just finished their first Spring season and we couldn’t be happier with how they went. BND Jaybird and BND Feather (SOD of both is Nabinabah Rockafella - HSH). Also a pic of our favourite old boy, Kevvie, who looks like he’s enjoying his first day of holidays.
