22.01.2022 Update 27/6 on Baron Good morning Many thanks to all the Angels who have helped Baron and those who have been praying for him. After a week off treatment we can report he is going really well and is very comfortable . He is moving about more and wanting to play with Chelsea. We have been able to take him out a few times as he can once again can get into the van . His swelling has gone down ans his leg is back to almost normal. This week he has a session for an infusion to h...elp his bone strength . Once again thanks to everyone. I’ll post up some new photos this week. Keep up to date by seeing #Barontheoldeenglishmastiff on Facebook . Please share the gofundme me page as we are close to the total but have many more bills to pay. Also look out for an article on baron in the Take5 magazine and later this week in the news.com.au papers. Thank you all See more

22.01.2022 Update 22/7 on Baron Good morning Many thanks to all the Angels who have helped Baron and those who have been praying for him. After round one of treatment we can report he is going really well and is very comfortable and happy. He’s never really been on tablets before but he is a very skilled finder of these foreign objects in his food. We have tried everything from inserting broken tabs in a fried egg to having meat chucks with the tabs , coated in cat food. He is a geniu...s at finding them and nibbles them out and then spits them in the floor . But he is going well . We had a check up yesterday and he will now have a 10 day break from vet visits . Next week he will get another Pamidronic Acid injection to maintain bone density and help prevent a break . Once again thanks to everyone. I’ll post up some new photos this week. Keep up to date by seeing #Barontheoldeenglishmastiff on Facebook . https://www.gofundme.com/f/palliative-care-for-baron-the-ol Please keep sharing this so we can hit our goal . See more

15.01.2022 Good Morning Update Saturday after Radiation therapy Baron recovered really fast yesterday from the general anesthetic and had a nice quite night in with a few drinks and a new show on Netflix. He ate a light meal and had a good nights sleep. This morning he’s super happy again. He is walking a bit better and putting weight on his leg. So that’s stage 1 done. Stage 2 starts Monday but no more invasive stuff and hope then we can start to move forward with his rehab. What a wee...Continue reading

12.01.2022 Morning Update We brought Baron home from Hospital last night after a day and a bit of therapy. He was so happy to see me but when we got home he seemed to be a bit disappointed. At home he just hobbled in, went to have a big drink and a really long wee. Walked back in the house and dropped on his bed. He didn’t want to eat he didn’t seem to be interested in much at all. He soon fell asleep. He didn’t want to eat at 11pm and so I sat with him and we had a long chat about the ...reasons for the hospitalisation . You know how it goes, ‘ this is for the best mate, we are doing it for a long term gain and there is always a short term loss. We want the best for you, by the weekend you will be great again’. He went back to sleep and obviously thought about what we discussed so when I went down to him at 5am he was really happy, really excited and ate his breakie with his tablets. He went back to sleep and so did I. At 8am I woke him up and he was back to normal wagging his tail and vocalizing as he does every morning I see him. So today we are back to the radiologists for round 2 and then I can bring him home again. Repeat this again Friday. More update as we get them. See more
