23.01.2022 WE ARE MAROON & GOLD || TONY TRANTER will forever be remembered for his significant contribution as both a 4 time premiership player and our last senior premiership coach for the Maroon & Gold. Tony came to us via the Essendon FC and was everything we were promised. Tony was a man mountain and a true leader in every thing he did on the field. Tony will always be remembered for his efforts in September as a big game player.... We are thrilled to have Tony and his wife Julie along for our 125th Year Anniversary Celebration this weekend.

18.01.2022 DUE TO THE POOR WEATHER CONDITIONS tomorrow, we unfortunately have had to cancel our jumping castle and face painter. BUT in exciting news, there will be a HALF TIME GAME for the UNDER 11s so be sure to see Darrell Bowden to confirm your child's interest and meet outside the Barooga changerooms 10 mins into the second quarter of the senior match.

17.01.2022 Congratulations to Barooga Football Netball Club for claiming the Cobram Courier Shield on its 125th anniversary. The Hawks defeated Murray Football Netball League arch-rivals Cobram Football Netball Club 7.7 (49) 6.8 (44) in a nail-biter.

11.01.2022 What an amazing weekend was had by all who made there way back to celebrate our 125 year weekend. To cap it off with a win in the seniors was fantastic. We would like to thank Jordan Flanagan for all her hard work in putting the weekend together. The weekend finished with an amazing night at the sporties where 280 people enjoyed the night. Thanks very much Jordan.

05.01.2022 LIKE BAROOGA OF OLD || WE'RE STRONG & WE'RE BOLD || WE ARE MAROON AND GOLD || In rounding out the promotion of our BFNC 125 Year Celebrations, it is only fitting that our final "legend profile" is one of the Barooga Football netball Club all time greats, the 2019 senior coach JAMES HAZELMAN... James is a rare find these days, being a 1 club player besides a few 4th games at Yarroweyah. James came through the Junior ranks to become a solid footballer who can play tall or small and was fortunate to play in a reserves flag in 2006. James has been the ultimate club man with 351 club games and a former captain. Unfortunately James was struck down with a knee injury this year but will be back bigger and better next year. Thank you for all you have contributed to the Mighty Hawks Pinny, with the unwavering support of Sarah and both the Hazelman & Brooks Families, you are all what makes BFNC great, and for that BFNC is forever indebted. Be sure you get on down to Barooga Recreation Reserve today as the Hawks take on the Tigers and cheer James' boys on. We so very much look forward to seeing our 280 guests this evening for what is sure to be an amazing night in the celebration of 1 2 5 GLORIOUS YEARS! CARN' HAWKS!
