22.01.2022 Only one more sleep!!! With all the excitement, we remind everyone that Murray St, Tanunda, will be closed from Theodore St to the archway from 5pm, as well as side streets. However, floats, food vans and entertainment vehicles will be moving around the area from 4pm, so we do recommend moving your vehicles prior to that. We look forward to seeing you all tomorrow!

20.01.2022 It's a wrap! A huge thank you to everyone that came out to celebrate Christmas with us last night. It was one of our best years yet, with more than 10,000 people lining the streets. A massive congratulations to every float entry, you all looked amazing! Photos of the night will be up soon, and we encourage you to share yours with us using #barossachristmasparade2019 on Facebook and Instagram!

19.01.2022 Do you know what you want from Santa this year? Better get your list ready, because Santa will be at the Village Green after the parade! Sit down and have your photo taken with Santa, and if you can, pop a gold coin donation in the box for Thank You Fireys Incorporated - Barossa Valley. All funds raised will go to this excellent cause. What will you be asking Santa to bring you this Christmas?

15.01.2022 The fun has started! For something different head down to Jarvis Barossa and have a chat with George and Shirl from Animals Anonymous. Get up close and personal with some amazing animals!

14.01.2022 On the way to Tanunda to carry the Mayor and a few of the councillors in the parade. Unfortunately on Gomersal Road he did the timing chain Maybe he will get there for next year.

14.01.2022 Today's the day! Everything is ready to go for tonight. Santa is polishing up the sleigh, everyone is putting the finishing touches on the floats and the elves are working hard to make sure everything is in place. The rides, petting zoos, entertainment, food, facepainters and so much more open at 5pm, and the main event, the parade, will start at 7pm. Drop in and visit Santa in the Village Green after the parade and enjoy the huge amount of food vans, market stalls and loca...l shops. See you there!

09.01.2022 Santa called into Tanunda today to check on preparations for his arrival at the Barossa Christmas Parade on December 6. 3 year old Emily Watson made sure to pass on her wishlist early, but everyone will have a chance to visit Santa at the Village Green following the parade.

08.01.2022 Oh no! In our excitement during the parade, we inadvertently missed announcing one of our amazing floats, dance school Ballet Per Se. We sincerely apologize for the mix up. Ballet Per Se is a positive, friendly and nuturing dance school where students gain confidence and learn new skills whilst enjoying their love of dance.

05.01.2022 Who else is looking forward to blasting some Christmas tunes? Of course, November 1 also means the countdown to Barossa Christmas Parade is on. 35 days and counting!

04.01.2022 After much deliberation, the winners are... *drum roll* Best School float - Faith Lutheran College ELC and Junior Campus Best Community Float - Bethany Lutheran Church... Best Business Float - Wohlers Best other float - BBBfm Congratulations to our winners! The winners receive a voucher which was generously donated by the Vine Inn. Thank you to every person who participated in the parade. It was very tough to decide, and we look forward to seeing what you all have for us next year! Winners are asked to contact us to arrange prize collection.

03.01.2022 BAROSSA CHRISTMAS PARADE CANCELLED We wish to advise of the cancellation of the 2020 Barossa Christmas Parade. We deferred making a decision hoping that restrictions would change however based on current regulations and restrictions of Covid-19 and the necessary procedures and compliance in conjunction with a management plan being approved we could not see the situation changing.... We are appreciative of the huge support of the local community and businesses who attend each year and know how much everyone enjoys the event but we will plan ahead for a bigger and better parade for 2021.
