19.01.2022 Oh Summer Holidays, we miss you already! Thanks for all your orders while we’ve been soaking in the sunshine with the family! We’ll be Back roasting on Tuesday to fulfil your coffee loving dreams. We hope you’ve had a wonderful start to the new year.

19.01.2022 Proud fuel providers. Go team @harvest.kitchen !!

18.01.2022 What a day SA!! Our coffee heads are spinning! At lunch time we heard the Governments announcement of the 6 days of circuit breaker lock down ahead for our State. Here we are nearing midnight and reflecting on what is possible in such a short period of time. Big thank you to all the essential workers out there who are going to power on through for the rest of us over this time. ... Be safe everyone, enjoy those warm cups at home.

17.01.2022 A sick day home from school means awesome coffees all day from Miss almost 10! Scales and all. Little legend!

17.01.2022 Here in South Australia we’re celebrating swift action, resilience, generosity of assumptions and a 6 day lock down that turned into 3! Although we didn’t really mind the stillness of the last couple of days we must admit! We’ll be on the roasting tools tomorrow to catch up for our cafe partners reopening and then Tuesday for a normal roast week after all!!

15.01.2022 ... aaaaand hello weekend and hello SA school holidays!

14.01.2022 Today the cover crop had its chop and it won’t be long until the vines shoot and our green landscape turns golden. Winter feels like it’s come and gone so fast this year, for stranger reasons than usual.

12.01.2022 Birthday weekend for this guy, who’s kept us in incredible fresh beans for 10 years! Appreciation level is HIGH! Happy Birthday Paul. @martinritzmann

12.01.2022 Hoping not to hear our alarm clock tomorrow morning :). Here’s to a rejuvenating weekend ahead! Turn off the news, brew a warm cup and tune into the birdsong... at a reasonable hour.

12.01.2022 Early Roast! Get those orders in early this week folks!!! We’ll be roasting and dispatching early this week due to an unexpected collision between a nose and a kitchen chair. Our safety tip of the week; best to use a ladder rather than a chair. ... Given one of us is in HR and hot on risk assessment, there’s only one guess who may have the broken nose . As a small family business with just the two of us bringing you the weeks roast, moments like these call for flexibility and rearranging the usual schedule; so we thank you in advance for your patience and understanding this week .

11.01.2022 A beautiful sight out of the kitchen window this morning. Trust nature to surprise us out of our end of term morning grumps. This is Australia .

10.01.2022 All our loves in one. Happy day!

08.01.2022 A new Seasonal Blend dropped last week! This time, a gorgeous blend of beans from Costa Rica, Ethiopia and Guatemala. Being the wife of the Roaster I may be bias but I know all the SB drinkers out there will back me :) ... Paul has nailed the profile once again, with this blend reiteration offering a smooth refreshing cup for the warmer months ahead. Sweet subtle strawberry and citrus fruits thanks to the incredible washed Ethiopia Adado and Natural Costa Rica Sonoro Catuai ...Rojo, plus a touch of warm nutmeg and biscuit thanks to the ever solid Guatemala Finca El Morito Microlot. Although designed as a milk based coffee, the Seasonal Blend also offers a smooth moving black for a more refreshing cup. Our Seasonal Blend shifts and changes just like the beautiful seasons of our environment in the Barossa. Our Roastery and vineyard is exposed to the clean fresh winds hitting the western ridge of Seppeltsfield, and our daily life is defined by the clear seasonal elements characteristic of a Barossan life. A cosy cold wet Winter, a windy sunburst Spring, a radiant burning hot Summer and a vibrant Autumn that begs the vines to colour. This Blend is our evolving ode to it all.

07.01.2022 ...aaaaand it’s tools down time! We’ve finished roasting for our 10th year and now it’s time for a break for a couple of weeks. Boy what a year 2020 has been! Reflecting on the year feels rather exhausting really, so we’ll focus on right now... my gosh we have so much to be grateful for!... Thank you for your support, which in a year like this has blown us away! Thank you. On a practical note, orders over the next 2 weeks will be roasted when we are back on the tools the week of the 18th Jan. In the meantime locals can top up at Nuri and Tanunda Foodland and Adelaide folks Tony & Marks Brickworks. We wish for a healthy and peaceful year ahead for you all, with cups warm and full! Much Coffee love Paul and Janelle

07.01.2022 Unplugging for a few days as a family in the Flinders Ranges is just what 2020 ordered, and what a surprise of contrasts to return home tonight to the visible signs of Spring. What a State we’re in indeed. Appreciation and gratitude level is highfor our little State and the incredible diversity of this country.

05.01.2022 Chilly start to the day! Lucky we have the antidote for cold hands .

04.01.2022 Is there anything better than coffee?!

03.01.2022 Happy long weekend! Bit if a wooly one, perfect for a long weekend of coffee drinking! Stay safe, dry and cosy people! x Foodland Tanunda and Nuri supermarkets are loaded for your top up needs.

02.01.2022 Throw back Thursday I think they call it! As our business clock ticks over 10 years in 2020 this lovely memory has popped up this morning, reminding us of the time we used to enter competitions. Back in 2012, a couple of spring chickens and some metal around the neck, a 2 year old business and 2 under 2 tiny kids in tow, following our hearts and making it all up as we went along .

02.01.2022 Roasting under a full moon lunar halo. This gig ain’t so bad.
