12.01.2022 Shearing season is here and we have lots of clients requesting ram sedation. Please remember that to provide this sedation, we need to have been out to your property in the last 12 months. If we haven't been out to you in the last 12 months, please phone us to organise a property visit from one of our vets. Whilst at your property we can always provide any necessary vet jobs including brucellosis testing, cattle pregnancy testing, checking over sick stock or vaccinating farm dogs. If we have been out to your property in the last 12 months, please phone so we can organise your order.

11.01.2022 Does your pet suffer from allergies? Do they have red, sore, flaky skin caused by their constant itching? Spring is the worst time of year when it comes to skin allergies. Washing your pet regularly can help reduce the allergens that collect in their coat and provide them with some soothing relief from that itchy feeling. Although never wash your pet more frequently than every 2 weeks to avoid stripping their coat of natural oils, unless advised by the veterinarian. If your pet is showing any skin allergy symptoms, organise a visit with one of our vets to get the best advice for your furry loved ones.

04.01.2022 Sometimes injured wildlife gets brought in. This juvenile Echidna (nicknamed Harry Houdini for his escapology prowess) came in today after being hit by a trailer. X-rays showed no broken bones so we have given it some pain relief to aid its recovery. Once better, the Echidna will be going back to where it was found, if we can keep it in the box long enough!
