20.01.2022 How good is the @barossafarmersmarket?! Amazing ragtime tunes courtesy of The Various Nefarious love it!

18.01.2022 Hello friends, and happy new year. From the beginning of 2020 James and I have made the decision to temporarily retire Barossa Walks. This isn’t the end of our much-loved walking tour business, but rather a temporary hiatus to allow a little more breathing room for our primary focus at Krondorf Creek Farm, as well as our jobs, our vineyard and the increasing demands of managing a 20 acre agricultural property through a continuing drought - not to mention our two beautiful ch...ildren (and - if Georgia plays her cards right - a pet rabbit in the near future). Of course, all Gift Certificates and existing bookings will be honoured, with our thanks. If you have any questions at all, please don’t hesitate to contact Jess on 0424 895 309 or email [email protected] and I will be more than happy to have a chat. It has been a rare and genuine joy to host so many guests through the last year or so. Sharing my love for this beautiful corner of the world in a slower, more thoughtful format has been an enormous pleasure and the basis of so many fabulous conversations. Thank you to all those who joined us on tour, supported our little business and encouraged us along the way. We are deeply grateful. So for now, Barossa Walks is off to enjoy a well-earned rest. We will be back again one day soon, with a spiffy new pair of hiking boots and even more enthusiasm for walking, talking and sharing the best of the Barossa. Cheers, Jess + James. 17.01.2022 Gorgeous morning at the Barossa Farmers Market, hosting Paul and Jenny from Queensland. Look at these incredible baguette from @mehlsourdough!

14.01.2022 Fabulous morning with the fabulous Jane and Martin (our photographer!) on our Cultural Heritage Walking Tour, talking all things history, Barossa, Krondorf and mulberry. A great combination! Much love to Valentine and Red in Daylesford, precious guests of ours, who recommended our walking tour - it is so greatly appreciated! x Jess

14.01.2022 One of the comments we receive most often on our Barossa Farmers Market walking tour is that people are delighted to discover fruit that tastes like actual fruit again! We love chatting with Sheralee from Trevallie Orchards, who knows more about fruit and fruit growing in the Barossa than almost anyone and it's always a great delight to see the smiles on people's faces when they bite into a crisp, juicy, properly tree ripened piece of fruit. If you're going to be at the Barossa Farmers Market tomorrow drop by Trevallie and grab some apples. And if you're anywhere else, seek out your local farmers' market, have a chat with the growers and find a genuine connection with your food!

06.01.2022 Folks, it's Friday which means that it's time to start dreaming about the Barossa Farmers Market and what delicious produce you need to stock up on. There's nothing fresher - just check out this gorgeous display from K & R Produce. Scrumptious. See you at the Market!
