18.01.2022 Corona Virus Update: Barraba Bowling Club and Chinese Restaurant are both operating as normal. They are following current Health, Government and Clubs NSW guidelines. Come to the Club and support these businesses. Show your support to keep these two facilities operating in Barraba.

17.01.2022 Raffles are back on starting this Friday in accordance with Corona Virus regulations. Please assist the Club and staff by abiding by these restrictions. Members draw stands at $1,000. Must be present to claim. Saturday bowls is back. 10am start. Club Championships recommenced last Sunday with more games boarded for the next two weekends - see attached. With the local paper no longer operating, it is difficult to get information to members other than by Social Media. Even thou...gh we have some member email addresses, we do not have them all. It would be appreciated if members could email the Club - [email protected] with their name and membership number. This would enable us to set up a mailing list to keep everyone informed of Club happenings. 07.01.2022 Important Notice re Corona Virus. Bowls NSW and Womens Bowls have issued a joint statement cancelling all Association events, Pennants and Club Games until further notice. Effective immediately. Consequently there will be no Pennants this weekend. For more information - please contact the club.

07.01.2022 As you may remember not all that long ago, in 2020, ALL clubs and pubs were shut. No schooners, no poker machines, no gambling, no catching up for drink...s with friends, no night out for dinner. No jobs Then the government allowed them all to open back up BUT with restrictions !!! limited group numbers, keeping 1.5 meter distancing, No mingling, temperature checks and the big one YOU MUST REMAIN SEATED AT ALL TIMES IN ALL AREAS no exception. So when you walk into your next licensed premises and you roll your eyes because you have to stop to give your details, contact number, get your temperature checked, please remember, we are just doing our jobs to try stay open for YOU. Don't be that person who has to be constantly told to keep seated and frustrate the staff for doing their job! The government has put in these restrictions and we MUST follow them in order to stop any spread in clubs and pubs, so we don't once again loose our jobs and you can enjoy a cold schooner with your mates. ***Please Share with your friends***

05.01.2022 Barraba Bowlo is shut until further notice but........THE CHINESE RESTAURANT WILL STILL OPEN for take aways - lunch and dinner. No dine in allowed. They also offer a home delivery service between 6pm and 8pm (for a $5 fee). This applies to distances within or near town limits. Please note that there is no eftpos available. Cash only.

04.01.2022 Great news - The Club will re-open Monday 1/6/20 at 4pm. * The 1.5 metre social distancing and hygene rules will apply. *Unfortunately you will not be able to drink at the bar - you must be seated at a table. * No walking around or mingling at the bar is allowed within the rules. *You do not need to have a meal to purchase alcohol.... * All attendees to the Club must sign in - including staff, members, guests and any other person that enters the club. * We will endeavour to follow instructions layed down by NSW Health, The Government and Clubs NSW to ensure a safe environment. * We look forward to your cooperation and company at The Bowlo.
