21.01.2022 New Opening Seasons & Cellar Door Hours Cellar door this year will be open every Saturday and Sunday through September and October from 11am to 4 pm, coinciding with the release of our Sauvignon Blanc and Rosé wines. In March 2019, we will announce the release of new vintages of our Uley Vineyard Chardonnay and Pinot Noir and will reopen cellar door each weekend in April to allow tasting and purchase of these and other wines.

14.01.2022 Restructuring of Cellar Door After 28 years and working 7 days a week, Lindsay and Wendy are looking for a bit more relaxation at weekends. It is therefore planned to open cellar door for a shorter season twice each year, coinciding with the release of new wines. In addition, the rather labour intensive format of seated tastings and serving of meal size food platters will be replaced by counter service of wines for tasting and an offering of simple cheese and cracker platters served with a glass or bottle of wine for those wishing to sit and enjoy the ambience of our cellar door setting, either inside with a cheery fire to keep you warm or outside in our beautiful garden.

07.01.2022 2018 Pinot Long Lunch This year during Winter Reds, the Stirling Hotel hosted the ‘Pinot Long Lunch’, a five course extravaganza with each course matched with two wines from the Adelaide Hills ranging from Pinot Gris, Pinot Grigio and of course Pinot Noir. The award winning 2015 ‘Uley Vineyard’ Pinot Noir was perfectly matched with a course of twice cooked duck breast, shiitake, beetroot, truffle and silverbeet. It was delicious, as were all the courses and wines.... It was great to be seated among my peers and listen to them talk with great passion about the Pinot Varietal, the region and how lucky we all were to live in a region that not only produces some of the greatest wines in the world but also some of its best produce to match it with. It was a great honour to be invited to speak and have the 2015 ‘Uley Vineyard’ Pinot Noir on show and well received if you’re quick you might find a bottle or two in the Stirling Cellars. Looking forward to next year with great enthusiasm, thanks to all who were involved in putting such a wonderful showcase and afternoon together.

05.01.2022 Cellar Door Closed After Spring Releases. Just to let you know, we've closed the cellar door after the release of our spring range of 2018 Sauvignon Blanc and Rosé varietals. We'll be reopening again over the weekends in April 2019 to release new vintages of Pinot Noir & Chardonnay.... Thanks for all the support and looking forward to seeing you next year

05.01.2022 Release of 2018 Wines Barratt Wines is pleased to announce the release of two of its 2018 wines, namely the 2018 Piccadilly Valley Sauvignon Blanc and the 2018 Piccadilly Sunrise Pinot Rosé. Both of these wines are now available through our website and will be featured with the reopening of our cellar door on September 1st. Lindsay is extremely happy with both wines and encourages early purchasing as from the experience of previous years, both have sold out extremely quickl...y in the spring/summer season. We do not want our followers to be disappointed again.
