25.01.2022 Hi guys Just quick note to remind you all about the dinner that I have coming up this tuesday 12th August with my best mate Alex Herbert, who just happens to be a ridiculously talented Chef! The menu is still being tweaked and refined, discussions are still being had but Alex has promised to serve, amongst other things, her famous gnocchi and when we were talking about the cut of beef to serve the conversation went a little like this... Me "are you thinking about a nice, dry aged piece of super lean meat? Something rare and bloody or more of a secondary cut that we roast long and slow, something fatty and sexual with buckets of flavour and character? Alex "I'll take fatty and sexual any day of the week!" That's the main sorted! Poppy Greeson will also be here talking about and pouring some excellent booze and all of the produce will be sourced from Alex's other family being the awesome collection of Artisanal growers and producers that share the Eveleigh markets with her every week. Full details will be posted on our Facebook page next week.

10.01.2022 Perfect night for a Pig Feast!! Melanda Park weaner, hot smoked legs, slow roasted shoulders, braised belly and coal roasted loin all that + snacks, salads, sides and a charcuterie board that will blow your freekin mind man!!... 2nd to last Wednesday to enjoy a mid week feast like this and there are still seats left, Friday & Saturday are about to book out - If you are interested in what we are doing book now!!

01.01.2022 Hey! We closed our doors last week and it has been a rather full on time since then. Barrel and Beast rocked so hard it was ridiculous, awesome food and amazing memories and beautiful people were all underground and behind the red door.
