Pacific Bird is by Model Bird and out of an Easy Dozen Mare. Jet Steam will be racing in the Merrie Elliott Breeders Cup this year.... He has been kept as a stud due to his dams breeding and being her last foal and his athleticism. He is a pretty chilled horse like his father and a joy to have around. Conditions - Transport and vet are the responsibility of the mare owner. Agistment and feeding of the mare while at Uanda is at the mare owners expense. 24.01.2022 Epilepsy Mutildraw Fundraiser On the 9th of March 2018, tragedy struck the western Queensland barrel racing community when we lost Jenny Schmidt to Epilepsy. Jenny always had a kind and encouraging word to say to everyone and is still greatly missed almost 3 years on. In late January of 2021, the Jenny Schmidt Memorial will be held in Aramac to honour her memory and to raise awareness and funds for epilepsy. I am writing on behalf of Barrels 4 A Cause to invite you to ...join us in our efforts to raise funds for this great cause by sponsoring our Multi-Draw raffle all proceeds of which will be donated to Epilepsy Queensland whose mission is to bring epilepsy out of the shadows and provide support to the approximately 200,000 Queenslanders who will develop epilepsy in their lifetime. This sponsorship can be in the form of gift vouchers or products and in return we will promote your business on our flyers, Facebook page as well as displaying signage on the day and promoting your business over our PA system and invite you to join us on the day. We use our love and passion for barrel racing to aid in raising funds and awareness of causes close to ours hearts and of our communities. During our first year as a club and despite the challenges presented to us by COVID-19, we have successfully raised a significant amount of funds for Epilepsy QLD ($3000) and the Barcaldine Regional Council Area State Schools ($1500). For those that aren’t aware Lucas Scobie suffered major burns in a four wheeler accident when the bike he was riding quite literally blew up beneath him.
