25.01.2022 Congratulations Brie on passing your driving test last week with a score of 100%. A proud teacher I am. You worked hard for that, now enjoy! Xx

25.01.2022 Reintroduction of Driver Testing From Wednesday 1 July, Service NSW will re-open driver testing bookings to all customers across the state. You will be able to book online, by phone or in person from this date. FROM SERVICE NSW!!! As driver testing was closed for 3 months, we are anticipating a high demand for the service. To manage this, we've increased the number of tests available and will continue to take the necessary steps to minimise any delay.... Currently we have been prioritising customers who had a test cancelled due to Covid-19. If you had a test that was cancelled, you'll be contacted by the Service Centre to re-book. Alternatively, you can attend your local service centre, or call us on 13 22 13. When you attend a service centre for your test, you'll be required to sign a statutory declaration confirming you're well enough to undertake the test. You can download the Driver testing statutory declaration PDF and have it ready to sign and be witnessed when you visit the service centre. Statutory declarations will also be available at the service centre. To ensure the safety of our customers and teams, social distancing practices are implemented in our centres accompanying family or friends may be asked to wait outside. Service NSW will also take measures to reduce the duration of a test by immediately returning to the centre if an applicant has been deemed as failing their test. Priority testing As our testing will shortly recommence, our priority request process closed on Friday 19 June. YAY, FINALLY WE ARE UP AND RUNNING AGAIN!!

15.01.2022 Queens Birthday Long Weekend Double Demerit Points We remind motorists in NSW to remember that double demerits are in place for four days over the Queen's Birt...hday long weekend. Double demerits start on Friday 7 June and run through to Monday 10 June (inclusive). The double demerit points period applies from midnight of the start date to midnight on the finish date. Double demerit points apply for speeding, seat belt, motorcycle helmet and mobile phone offences during all holiday periods such as long weekends, Christmas, New Year and Easter. 15.01.2022 DID YOU KNOW: Airbags deploy between 100 & 220 MPH. If you ride with your feet on the dash, you may send your knees through your eye sockets if the airbag is deployed. Not to mention it looks slovenly!

13.01.2022 You have to like the 7/11 app!! Give it a go

12.01.2022 Hi all!! Sooooo sadly Ps testing has NOT yet resumed, and we are still waiting on some updated info from Service NSW. Hopefully, fingers crossed for early to mid June?? They have committed to processing cancelled tests first. However, there are currently provisions for testing, for those suffering extreme need on health or economic grounds. Please pop into Service NSW at Warriewood for additional info and to register!! Good news is, I will begin lessons again starting June 1st I will initiate strict hygiene measures and will asked my students to do the same!! We will be driving with the windows open, so dress warmly, and I will be asking all students the attached sheet. Please read this and txt me with your lesson requirements!! Stay safe, and see you soon. Julie xxx

10.01.2022 Wow!! So I had no idea how slack I've been with my Facebook page. New Years resolution - Post more!! Here goes!!!Wow!! So I had no idea how slack I've been with my Facebook page. New Years resolution - Post more!! Here goes!!!

10.01.2022 I understand that some parents find it hard to push out the required 120 hours of Learner Driving. However, I learnt today that as P Plater, there is a 40% less chance of being in a casualty crash if the Learner Driver has had 200 hours of supervised driving. Thats a big difference to the safety of our young people. So utilize the 3 for 1 driving instructor hours and the Safer Drivers Course, and get those hours up!!

10.01.2022 So excited for Matt and Georgia who passed their Ps test yesterday in that terrible rain!! Well done guys, enjoy and stay safe x

09.01.2022 URGENT!!! Service NSW has advised that any vehicles affected by the faulty Takata Alpha Airbag recall, that have not had the recall conducted - WILL NOT be allowed to be used on driving tests. If your vehicle has an airbag affected by the Takata airbag recall, youll need to have this replaced before your Ps test, otherwise, your driving test wont take place. Check https://ismyairbagsafe.com.au/ to see if your vehicle is affected.

08.01.2022 Please take note!! Graphic, but real

08.01.2022 Stunning sunrise for an early morning drive Stunning sunrise for an early morning drive

07.01.2022 It is with great regret that due to updated NSW Health information, my own families immunity and the very close proximity to students during driving lessons that I have decided to temporarily postpone all upcoming lessons, effective immediately. It is a very stressful situation our communities are facing and my and my students health are the most important thing to me during this time. I trust you will understand my decision. It has been a difficult one to make. Currently Service NSW are still conducting Ps driving tests, but at a limited capacity. And I will keep you updated as I receive further information!! I look forward to when this is all over and I can again support my students to become safe drivers. Look after yourself and those around you. Julie xx

06.01.2022 Bernard Carlon from the Centre for Road Safety presents at The ADTA Spring Conference and shares the scary statistic that a person dies or is seriously injured on our roads every 41 minutes!! Please Slow Down and Concentrate!!!

06.01.2022 A little laugh for a sunday morning! And yes, always have dual controls!

06.01.2022 Not that my students should need to know this as they are great law abiding citizens, but a good reminder to all your families

05.01.2022 Hi there everyone. The ADTA spoke with Service NSW yesterday and they have advised that a number of centres will be closed today with Aged testing also being postponed at a few other centres. This may affect more days as things progress. Whilst this is upsetting for our students, the big picture is that there are a number of Service NSW staff affected by these fires and the risk that staff could be stuck in locations or unable to travel. Im sure that we all join in offerin...g our thoughts to those people located in the fire affected areas and also sincere gratitude to the interstate firies that are here to support our local fire fighters. The closed centres are Springwood, Richmond, Tenterfield, Taree, Tuncurry, Lithgow, Toronto, Tuggerah, Wauchope, Cessnock, Nambucca, Port Macquarie, Singleton and Kempsey. Blacktown and Hornsby will also be delaying Aged Tests. The premier today announced that she has declared a seven day state of emergency due to the catastrophic conditions. These measures are designed to free up staff, allow staff to deal with high level pressing issues in their homes and to keep unnecessary traffic off the roads. Once the emergency conditions have subsided Service NSW will look at options to minimise waiting times and develop a strategy moving forwards to see the applicants that were inconvenienced assisted. The ADTA will be working closely with them to assist in any way that we can to see this happen. Please join me in wishing all those affected by these fires our best xxx See more
