14.01.2022 Please note: if you are attending a dental appointment in the next 10 days you will still be required to wear a mask before you enter the building. Following no cases of COVID-19 reported in the community over the last three days, the Queensland Government has announced that the lockdown of the greater Brisbane region will end at 6pm today, Monday 11 January. However, the Government has announced on-going requirements to wear masks in places where social distancing is diffic...ult to achieve, and this includes reception areas and waiting rooms in dental practices. All practitioners should ensure masks are made available to their staff and patients as appropriate. This requirement will be in place for the next ten days, until Friday 22 January. Dental practise in Queensland remains under level 1 restrictions, and all practitioners are reminded of the importance of appropriate screening of all patients prior to presenting at the practice.
