Gio & Andrea will be on the driveway from 4PM serving up another epic menu of Italian delights! - BEER GARDEN OPEN & EIGHT CRAFT BEER STYLES ON TAP, including our much requested OAKED AMBER (it was actually on last week but we were so busy we forgot to post about it! Oops! Sorry!) -... SATURDAY we're open once again 2PM-6PM! This will be our third week of trialing a cheeky little Sat session, and so far it seems to be a very popular decision! So, be sure to get down nice & early to secure your seat It's a 'bring your own snack/takeout' session this Saturday, just like the old days! It’s beer o’clock with @barrierreefbrewingco. For those following, this is brewery #3. They were photographed on a sand cay at a fringe reef in Tropical Queensland. It doesn’t get more authentic than that. I’ve looked and at the moment, there’s no delivery that I’ve found outside of Cairns. But I’d go so far to say thes...e brews are worth the journey North and they have many more tasty options to try - including a double shot coffee amber that I am yet to taste . Around Qld in 80 days is gaining traction. 04.01.2022 #Repost @brisbeerbaron with @make_repost Barrier Reef Two Turtles: Pale Ale 5.0% ABV 30 IBU Cairns, QLD I visited Cairns a couple of months ago and brought home some beers from local breweries that had been hiding at the back of my fridge waiting to be rediscovered @barrierreefbrewingco was just around the corner from the @airbnb I stayed at, so naturally it was the first place I visited and this was the first beer I drank! hopped with Magnum and two Aussie classics; Cascade & Galaxy this pale ale is light & refreshing with fruity flavours up front followed by a malty backbone with moderate bitterness. I’m sure this one is a hit amongst the locals as it goes down a treat on a hot, sticky afternoon
