05.01.2022 - just a little insight to our Saturday life This is me (Em) and my little monkey (Sofia) if you watch the page story you’ll see the other 1/3 to our trio Mick. The man behind the scenes that goes above and beyond every working day. Yep that’s right just your average working mum! (So if I don’t get back to your messages or I mess something up.. sorry!! I’m just a regular human! )... You may have seen me/us doing your deliveries - (don’t be scared to say hi! She loves meeting everyone that we deliver the boxes too!) People always ask how we manage a busy organic fruit and veg farm, farmers markets, box delivery, cattle and a family without going crazy!! But it’s just our life! That’s how we do it - busy 24/7 but I wouldn’t change it for the world!

02.01.2022 Who would have thought that one year ago we all prayed for this rain, water is so precious but did you know that Summer plants don't like too much, and that it prolongs the ripening process? It can also affect us on the farm, we plant fortnightly so we can have a mixed crop farm, but when there is weather like this is can really affect our planting cycle as we can not access the paddocks to plough & plant. Our Watermelons need at least 5 days of sunshine to help them ripen, and our Tomatoes will split before we can get them so we end up making batches and batches of Tomato sauce.
